Full Job Description Summary:
As the Marketing Manager, you will assist in defining and implementing strategies and tactics that support Fairmount Park Casino & Racing marking and player development initiatives.
Essential Job Functions :
Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals Perform high-level strategic planning functions and tactics for the casino's Marketing program Coordinates and implements day-to-day marketing initiatives, including promotions, events, rewards, entertainment, development of rules, and marketing collateral Receives and reviews complimentary requests from customers and obtains appropriate approval Administers and oversees activities of player development initiatives Hires, trains & manages Casino Host Develop, coordinate, and implement player special events Lead in developing and managing the departmental budget, including capital expenditures, and help guide department-level managers in budget process and management. Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and guest information Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action Provide ad hoc and reporting Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum three years of prior experience in casino marketing or five years in casino operations required Must have a minimum of three years of experience in player-tracking systems High-level public relations and customer service skills are required Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required Must have a working knowledge of slot machines Must be able to work weekends, weeknights, and holidays
