Recruit & Train:
Hire, onboard, and continuously train a team of high-performing canvassers in pitch delivery, objection handling, and territory management.
Field Management:
Lead by example by spending time in the field with canvassers—coaching, shadowing, and motivating the team to meet daily lead and appointment targets.
Territory Planning:
Map out, assign, and optimize neighborhood routes for maximum efficiency and return on investment (ROI).
Performance Tracking:
Set daily/weekly KPIs for the team, track conversion metrics (doors knocked → contacts made → leads generated), and hold team members accountable.
Compliance:
Ensure all canvassing efforts adhere to local laws, permit requirements, and ethical sales practices. Events & Shows Management (Home Shows, Farmers Markets, Fairs)
Event Scheduling & Logistics:
Identify, evaluate, and register [Company Name] for high-traffic local events, including home shows, farmers markets, street fairs, and seasonal expos.
Booth & Team Supervision:
Manage event setup, booth staging, marketing collateral, and teardown. Oversee event staff to ensure active, engaging lead generation.
Lead Capture:
Standardize the event lead-capture process and ensure all collected leads are immediately routed into our CRM for prompt follow-up.
Networking & Community Partnerships Business Networking:
Represent [Company Name] at local business networking organizations (e.g., Chamber of Commerce, BNI, civic groups) to establish strategic referral relationships.
Cross-Promotions:
Partner with complementary local businesses, vendor networks, and community groups for co-marketing opportunities and sponsored events.
Strategy, Reporting & Administration Data & CRM Management:
Maintain accurate records of all canvassing and event leads in our CRM system.
Budgeting & ROI Tracking:
Manage the field marketing budget (event registration fees, canvassing materials, team incentives) and report on lead cost and ROI to leadership.
Incentive Programs:
Design and execute contest/bonus structures to keep the canvassing and event teams motivated.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
2+ years of proven experience in direct sales, door-to-door canvassing, event marketing, or field promotion, with at least 1 year in a leadership/supervisory role.
Leadership Style:
High-energy, resilient, and hands-on motivator who leads from the front lines.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal communication, networking, and public-facing interpersonal skills.
Flexibility:
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, to align with community events and prime canvassing hours.
Organization:
Strong project management and logistical skills to handle multiple events and team schedules simultaneously.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (ability to transport event gear/booths). Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during field shifts and events. Proficiency with mobile apps and CRM tracking tools. Performance Metrics (KPIs) Total volume and quality of leads/appointments generated from canvassing and events. Canvassing team recruitment, retention, and individual conversion rates. Cost-Per-Lead (CPL) and Return on Investment (ROI) across events and home shows. Strategic partnerships and referral agreements established through networking.

$85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
