Occasional, as needed Position Summary This is one shared marketing position supporting both Davis Chocolate and Deco-Chem Inc. The Marketing Manager develops, implements, and manages marketing initiatives that support the growth of both companies while maintaining distinct brand identities. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to wear multiple hats, shift between priorities, and take ownership of projects from concept through completion. Responsibilities include digital marketing, website management, social media, graphic design, content creation, product launches, public relations, customer outreach, market research, sales support, vendor coordination, and marketing analytics. The position also includes regular outbound calls and emails to current and prospective customers to verify contact information, identify decision-makers, maintain customer databases, and generate qualified sales opportunities. Marketing & Brand Development Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for both companies. Manage multiple marketing projects while maintaining separate branding and messaging. Create brochures, catalogs, packaging, advertisements, newsletters, email campaigns, direct mail, sales literature, and promotional materials. Support product launches and promotional campaigns. Take ownership of assigned projects from planning through completion. Submit major marketing materials for management approval before publication. Digital Marketing & Website Support Maintain and update company websites. Improve SEO, website content, user experience, and lead generation. Develop and manage email marketing campaigns. Monitor website traffic and campaign performance. Coordinate with outside website and technology vendors. Social Media & Content Creation Manage social media for both companies. Increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness. Produce videos, photography, graphics, and digital content. Write blog articles, product descriptions, and marketing copy. Customer Outreach & Sales Support Research prospective customers. Call and email customers to verify and update contact information. Maintain accurate CRM/customer databases. Identify qualified opportunities and communicate them to Sales. Document customer interactions accurately. Market Research & Analytics Research competitors, products, pricing, and industry trends. Prepare competitive analyses and campaign reports. Measure campaign performance and recommend improvements. Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Product Development, and Management. Assist with certification organizations. Support trade shows, presentations, product demonstrations, and events. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. Two or more years of marketing experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing, food, industrial products, or B2B marketing is a plus. Professional outbound calling experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong copywriting, editing, proofreading, and brand management. Microsoft Office proficiency Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software. Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, web analytics, and social media. Ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly learn new technologies. Behavioral Competencies Strong initiative and accountability. Creative, organized, and detail-oriented. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
