JOB TITLE
Brand Manager SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for providing focus and support to our sales and merchandising teams on our high-end, craft, import, and non-alcoholic product lines. This position is also responsible for maintaining a healthy relationship with all of our suppliers by cascading brand growth targets and incentives that align with our company's direction.
JOB DUTIES
Verify compliance with distribution agreements ensuring all brewer and supplier standards are continually met. Train, develop, and coach sales reps and merchandisers on our high-end, craft, import, and non-alcoholic product lines. Maintain an accurate inventory for all products ordered and have a process in place to properly order all products that maintains product quality and freshness with as few out of stocks as possible. Maintain a detailed promotional calendar for the sales team and the administrative staff. This is to include historical promotional calendars to aid with forecasting product. Work closely with our supplier partners and other branches to coordinate the logistics of receiving and transferring product as efficiently as possible. Fill out and submit new item set up forms to the corporate office before receiving the product. Create informative sell-in sheets for the sales teams for all new products. Responsible for developing call frequencies on assigned accounts to ensure that the proper amount of time and energy is being given to the right brands in the right accounts. Work with the sales teams to ensure that they are properly selling in placements and displays. Build business relationships with retail decision makers and license owners. Responsible for ensuring product freshness standards are being followed in the market. Inspect retail advertising execution in the market. Increase shelf space and position for all products within our portfolio. Assist in the process building of monthly sales objectives for all sales teams to ensure that the proper account level goals are being set. Attend all sales department and company meetings. Sit in on scheduled sales team meetings to add focus to our high-end, craft, import, and non-alcoholic product lines. Positively communicate and work with other team members to build a cohesive team. Execute company and supplier partner assigned surveys. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Direct experience in wholesale beer distribution and/or brewer/supplier operations Good communication skills and ability to partner and collaborate effectively with others Time management skills Knowledge of IPad/Computer applications and operations High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 21 years of age Proficient in Microsoft office applications, (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced team environment 2 years of prior sales experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICTIONS
Bachelor's Degree Field and retail sales experience in the beverage industry or other consumer product industries Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple projects Proven track record of leadership, team building and sound decision making
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. Hang merchandise as needed Repetitive lifting, up to 50 lbs. overhead Bending, pulling/pushing up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler Ability to continuously stand or walk Ability to bend and occasionally squat
