Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing & Sales Support Manager to join our team. This versatile role will be responsible for managing company catalogs and marketing materials, supporting the sales team, overseeing one employee, coordinating trade shows, and managing the company's social media and website. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can balance creative marketing responsibilities with day-to-day sales support and administrative coordination. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Catalog & Marketing Material Management Maintain, update, and organize several company product catalogs. Ensure product information, specifications, pricing, images, and other content are accurate and current. Coordinate new product additions, discontinued products, revisions, and catalog updates. Work with internal teams and vendors to obtain accurate product information and images. Maintain other sales and marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and promotional materials. Ensure sales representatives have current and accurate marketing resources. Sales Team Support Provide day-to-day support to the sales team to help facilitate customer relationships and sales activities. Assist with customer requests, product information, samples, presentations, and other sales materials. Help prepare presentations, product information, and customer communications as needed. Coordinate information between sales, customers, vendors, and internal departments. Track follow-up items and assist with projects to ensure deadlines are met. Help identify opportunities to improve sales support processes and resources. Employee Oversight Provide day-to-day direction and oversight for one employee. Assign and prioritize tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule. Provide training, guidance, and feedback as appropriate. Help maintain an organized and productive workflow within the department. Trade Shows & Industry Events Coordinate and assist with company participation in trade shows and industry events. Manage trade show preparations, including booth materials, product samples, catalogs, promotional items, and shipping. Coordinate event schedules, registrations, vendors, and other logistics. Help collect and organize leads generated through trade shows and coordinate post-show follow-up. Maintain a calendar of industry events and trade show opportunities. Social Media Management Manage the company's social media presence across relevant platforms. Develop and maintain a consistent social media content calendar. Create, schedule, and publish engaging content highlighting products, company news, industry information, trade shows, and company activities. Coordinate photography, graphics, product information, and other content as needed. Monitor engagement and respond or coordinate responses to inquiries and comments. Track social media performance and make recommendations for improving reach and engagement. Website Management Maintain and regularly update the company website. Add and update product information, catalogs, images, news, announcements, and other website content. Ensure website content is accurate, current, organized, and user-friendly. Coordinate website updates with internal departments and outside website developers or vendors when necessary. Monitor website content and identify opportunities for improvement. Assist with basic SEO, analytics, and website performance reporting. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in marketing, sales support, communications, customer service, or a related field. Strong organizational and project-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience managing websites and social media platforms. Experience creating or coordinating marketing materials and digital content. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales and other departments. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude. Experience with product catalogs is a plus. Trade show and event coordination experience is preferred. Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on, organized, and versatile marketing professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats. This person should be comfortable moving between updating a product catalog, helping a salesperson with a customer request, preparing for a trade show, creating a social media post, and making website updates—all while keeping projects organized and on schedule. A successful candidate will be proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, employees, and industry partners.
