Job Description
The Global Marketing Director - Water Division (Hybrid Ann Arbor) is responsible for leading the strategic marketing function within the water division, driving sustainable growth across international markets. This role demands a visionary leader with deep industry expertise, capable of orchestrating revenue-generating initiatives, developing robust market strategies, and fostering innovation in a dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years' experience in marketing leadership roles, ideally within the water industry or related sectors. Demonstrated strategic planning, market analysis, and innovation leadership capabilities. Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Salesforce and digital marketing platforms. Strong project management and team leadership abilities. Develop and implement a comprehensive 3-year global growth strategy, aligning with organizational objectives and market potential. Lead revenue generation efforts by identifying new business opportunities and optimizing existing channels. Design and execute the annual operating plan (AOP), ensuring targets and resources are effectively allocated. Conduct thorough market sizing, trend analysis, and competitor assessments to inform strategic decisions. Formulate and refine pricing strategies and compelling value propositions to enhance market positioning. Drive innovation initiatives across products and services, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Set clear targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly reporting on progress and outcomes. Develop and oversee go-to-market strategies for new offerings, ensuring successful launches and market penetration. Manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal resource utilization and ROI. Supervise the creation and approval of digital and traditional marketing content, maintaining brand consistency and quality. Review and guide regional marketing plans, ensuring alignment with global objectives. Oversee campaign structures, ensuring cohesive execution and measurable impact. Collaborate closely with communications and brand teams to uphold and strengthen brand identity. Host regular leadership updates to communicate progress, challenges, and strategic adjustments. Promote community building initiatives to enhance stakeholder engagement and industry presence. Monitor, analyze, and report marketing activities and performance using Salesforce and other relevant tools. Required Expertise In-depth knowledge of the water industry, including market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends. Proven ability to develop and execute long-term strategic plans in a global context. Demonstrated success in market analysis, pricing strategy, and value proposition development. Track record of driving innovation and leading cross-functional teams toward ambitious growth targets. Reporting and Callibration Reports directly to the Vice President, Water, providing regular updates and strategic insights. Works collaboratively with sales, products, communications, and regional teams to ensure unified market approaches. Acts as a key liaison between marketing, operations, and brand management functions. Performance Metrics Achievement of revenue and market share growth targets. Delivery of annual operating plan objectives. Effective KPI tracking and reporting, with actionable insights for continuous improvement. Successful execution of go-to-market strategies and campaign effectiveness. Timely and accurate Salesforce reporting and data analysis. #LI-SV1
