Marketing Job Summary The Director of Marketing and Foundation is responsible for leading the planning and implementing marketing strategies to drive internal and external public relations that enhance employee engagement and create positive public impressions. The Director is responsible for developing measurable marketing strategies to ensure that program goals are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. This position is also responsible for providing leadership, strategy, revenue generation, financial management and overall oversight for the PMC Foundation. Essential Functions Fiscal Manages the annual advertising and promotional budget. Manages all Foundation fund development activities, including grant writing, cultivation and stewardship of donors, event planning, and identifying new resources. Actively seeks and maintains a diverse Foundation donor base of individual, business, foundation and government segments. Builds long-term relationships with Foundation key donor segments based on mission, cultivation and stewardship, program outcomes, and sound fiscal management. Oversees preparation of the annual budget and other necessary financial documents for the PMC Foundation. Communication In consultation with the Chief Executive Officer, administrative team and departmental management, develops, recommends, and implements the annual plan for the marketing plan of the organization. The plan will set out objectives, plans, and specific activities to be pursued in each area of responsibility. This plan will be developed in the context of the organization's strategic and operating plans and will be directed at supporting the objectives established in those plans. Produces and maintains PMC advertising and coordinates marketing tools for newspaper, radio, special publications, brochures, annual reports, travel guides, travel maps, websites, social media and phone directories. Supports and assists organizational departments, medical staff, Foundation and organizational groups with outreach and in-house events, programs, activities, special events, medial interviews, press conferences and promotion ensuring seamless interactions between organization representatives and other professionals. Provide guidance and training to hospital staff on effective communication practices, including media interactions and public speaking engagements. Assist in customer service by completing report sections and utilizing patient satisfaction surveys to identify trends and marketing opportunities. Assists in the development and publication of internal organizational communications. Provide medical staff support including, but not limited to, physician and provider directories, portrait photography, new physician and provider advertising, and special events. Develops and implements policy and procedures specific to the processes regarding marketing and foundation. Coordinate marketing and branding to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels. Serves as the PMC Public Information Officer during critical incidents such as emergencies, disasters, and controversies. Responds to media inquiries promptly and manage crisis communication as needed, demonstrating sensitivity and accuracy in addressing medical concerns. Relationships Develop relationships with stakeholders, including patients, physicians, community leaders, and patient advocacy groups, to foster a sense of community and support. Provides leadership in driving a collaborative process with administration and the Foundation Board of Directors that would result in the development of strategy, goals, objectives, and operational plans for the organization. Cultivates a strong partnership with the Board of Trustees in setting policies consistent with the mission of the Foundation. Works, as needed, with all standing and ad hoc committees of the Foundation Board. General Directs market research activities in order to keep abreast of changing demographics and other relevant issues, evaluate marketing and communication activities, and monitor emerging issues. Helps with special projects as delineated by the Chief Executive Officer.
