GENERAL SUMMARY
This contract role is responsible for delivering breakthrough, best-in-class creative ideas and activation plans from brief through execution and optimization. As the owner of activation plans across all Campbell's brands, this marketing leader will collaborate with internal and external partners in brand, media, PR/social, consumer insights, shopper marketing and an Integrated Agency Team to develop and execute integrated activation plans across all consumer touchpoints to deliver brand and business objectives. In this role, you will oversee a team of Consumer Engagement leaders. Principal Responsibilities
  • Strategic Excellence. Lead development of marketing communications strategies that start with a compelling and cogent brief and are smartly built to effectively build our brands and drive behavior change.
  • Creative Excellence. Deliver breakthrough, on-brand, on-strategy creative that blows consumers' hair back and delivers the business objective(s).
  • Executional Excellence. With the right creative strategy and idea in place, this leader will work with the team to execute activation plans flawlessly, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Develop Inspiring Briefs. Lead development of strategic marketing briefs, in partnership with Brand Marketing, to inspire 'best in class' creative that aligns with brand strategies and delivers business impact.
  • Holistic Planning. Drive development of robust 360-degree activation plans that resonate with consumers across all channels (paid, earned, owned).
  • Collaboration. Serve as the center of the Integrated Marketing team, and create close, collaborative relationships with other integrated marketing leaders (including Media, PR, Social, Shopper Marketing, etc.), internal stakeholders (Brand, Insights, etc.), and agency partners to drive alignment to both strategy and executional plans.
  • Agency Management. Lead creative agency and IAT through full integrated marketing process, from brief to execution to optimization and reporting. Deliver clear, strong feedback to agency partners to drive remarkable work.
  • Team Management and Leadership. Lead a high-performance team of several direct reports. Create and maintain an inclusive work environment.
  • Measurement.
Define clear KPIs aligned to brand objectives, and develop measurement approach to track performance against KPIs.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years integrated marketing experience, ideally with some client-side and food/consumer packaged goods experience
  • Balance of strong strategic thinking and flawless execution
  • Strong understanding of all communication channels

  • Strong creative intuition and ability to lead creative agencies to breakthrough ideas
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills; ability to inform, influence and negotiate across functions and with all organization levels. Ability to translate the complex into the simple.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team to clearly define opportunities/problems, develop solutions and drive decision making
  • Must be able to juggle and advance multiple priorities at once, in a timely fashion, with high-quality output
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
