[52k-250k] + all travel covered About the Role We're hiring a Social Media & Marketing Manager to take ownership of the full marketing and digital presence for a portfolio of Three distinct businesses owned and operated by a single entrepreneur — plus build out and grow the owner's personal brand from the ground up. You won't be inheriting a rigid playbook. You'll be pioneering the social media strategy for each company, working hand-in-hand with a dedicated videographer to produce a steady stream of high-quality content across multiple brands and platforms. This role is for someone who thrives on variety, runs independently without being micromanaged, and gets energized by building things from scratch. If you want to do the same task in the same office for the next five years, this isn't the role. What You'll Be Doing Own the social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn — channel mix varies by business) for three companies and the owner's personal brand Plan, schedule, and publish content across every account; manage community engagement, DMs, and comments Partner with our videographer — plan shoots, scout content opportunities, and turn raw footage into a consistent stream of reels, shorts, posts, and long-form content Develop and execute campaigns to grow followers, engagement, leads, and revenue for each brand Track performance and report back — know what's working, what isn't, and adjust quickly Manage brand voice across four very different industries (each business has its own identity and audience) Coordinate paid social, influencer partnerships, and collaborations as the strategy calls for them Write copy that converts — captions, scripts, email, landing page content Build the personal brand of the owner — help define the voice, identify the stories worth telling, and grow a real, engaged following Travel Requirements — Please Read Carefully This is a travel-heavy role.You will:
Fly to other states regularly — expect multiple trips per month Stay on-site for multiple consecutive days at a time Be on the ground where the content is actually happening, not behind a desk watching it second-hand Have all travel expenses fully covered — flights, lodging, ground transportation, and meals If frequent travel and significant time away from home aren't a fit for your life right now, this role isn't the right one — and that's okay. We need you to be honest with yourself about this before applying. Who You Are 3+ years of hands-on social media and digital marketing experience — agency, in-house, or independent. We care about results, not pedigree. A real track record — accounts you've grown, content you've produced, campaigns you've run, numbers you can speak to A strong eye for content — you know a great post when you see one, and you know how to brief a videographer to get the footage you need A strong writer — captions, scripts, long-form, anything Comfortable juggling multiple brands and switching contexts without dropping balls Data-aware but not paralyzed by it — you let analytics inform decisions, not dictate them Self-starter mentality — you can run independently and report back; you don't need a daily task list Plugged in to what's working right now — platform trends, algorithm shifts, formats that are popping off Valid passport and able to travel domestically without restriction Nice to Have Experience growing a personal brand or working closely with a founder/operator Background in fitness, hospitality, retail, or other service-based industries Light video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut) — we have a videographer, but quick edits on your phone are a plus Paid social experience (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads) Email marketing platform experience (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, etc.) Photography skills What We Offer [Competitive salary — Based on Results] All travel fully expensed — flights, hotels, meals, ground transportation Real creative ownership across four businesses and a personal brand — your fingerprints will be all over what we build Direct line to the owner — no layers of management, no committees, no slow decisions A dedicated videographer to collaborate with so you're not also the one holding the camera The chance to build a marketing function from the ground up across a multi-business portfolio — a resume-defining role for the right person How to Apply A short note on why this role interests you Your resume or LinkedIn profile Links to 2-3 accounts (personal or client) where you've moved the needle, with a sentence on what you did A favorite recent piece of social content from any brand — and why you think it works We read every application.
