Job Type:
Ministerial Reports to: Senior Director Position Description This full-time, salaried, benefited position is responsible for operations related to the client-choice market. The position will interface with senior management and outreach locations in the CCEOK network to share best practices and monitor compliance as needed, which includes inventory control and client management systems. The Market is a client-choice program that provides a variety of healthy food items at no cost to low-income individuals and families in Eastern Oklahoma in an effort to alleviate hunger in the community. Ministerial As a ministerial representative of CCEOK, both professional and personal conduct must align with the ethical and moral standards of the Catholic Church Pray daily for the needs of the poor through personal prayer, daily Mass, and/or adoration Be willing to learn and apply Catholic teaching in your role Help foster a shared culture of ministry across program operations and management Leadership Motivate, lead, and mentor staff and volunteers to accomplish the program's goals Responsible for the day-to-day operation of The Market program Create and maintain an atmosphere that promotes client dignity in The Market Maximize food production by using donated food for use in The Market while keeping purchased food to a minimum Assure compliance with U.S.D.A. food distribution regulations and funding sources Assure that balanced, nutritious food options are readily available for distribution Minimize the waste of both donated and purchased food Work closely with CCEOK team for the successful daily operations of The Market Work with the Senior Director to develop cost-effective sources of food Compliance, Information Reporting Systems, and Other Ensure compliance is adhered to and reporting requirements are completed on time on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Assured outcomes are met, proper records and systems are maintained for audit and managerial purposes, and report information in a timely and accurate fashion Assure inventory flows as defined in the CCEOK philosophy (in and out within two weeks) and support the annual inventory count for the audit Participate in staff meetings, project teams, or other employee activities Performs other related duties as assigned by management Community Outreach Promote relationships with other CCEOK programs and community partners by providing wrap-around services within The Market Provide education and outreach in the community Represent the program at community meetings Support related fundraising and volunteer events Performs other related duties as assigned by management Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Food safety and handling certification or the ability to be certified 3 to 5 years of experience in management or supervision of employees/volunteers preferred One to two years of customer service and/or retail food experience preferred Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Ability to communicate with clients of all socio-economic backgrounds in a friendly and consistent manner Strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Office 365 Ability to work some nights and weekends For more information: call (918) 508-7121 Minimum requirements: 18 years or older High school diploma or equivalent
