POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Channel Strategy Manager is responsible for designing and optimizing cross-channel marketing strategies that drive lead conversion across the customer journey. This role focuses on orchestrating the right message, channel, and timing to maximize engagement and conversion outcomes. Highly analytical and data-driven, this individual serves as a key liaison between marketing strategy and execution—ensuring channel plans are actionable, measurable, and continuously optimized based on performance insights.
DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities Develop and optimize multi-channel engagement strategies across email, SMS, phone, direct mail, push, and digital touchpoints. Design coordinated customer journeys that increase lead-to-application and lead-to-fund conversion rates. Define channel roles, sequencing, cadence, and triggers based on customer behavior and intent. Analyze campaign and journey performance to identify opportunities to improve conversion efficiency. Establish KPIs across the funnel (engagement, application completion, lock rates) and drive continuous optimization. Translate data insights into clear, actionable channel strategy recommendations. Serve as the bridge between marketing, data, and execution teams to ensure strategies are feasible and impactful. Partner with data teams to define targeting logic, data requirements, and measurement frameworks. Collaborate with business stakeholders to align goals, priorities, and success metrics. Identify and advocate for data needed to support segmentation, personalization, and trigger-based marketing. Ensure proper tracking, attribution, and reporting is in place across channels and journeys. Support test-and-learn frameworks, including A/B testing and incrementality measurement.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5-7 years in marketing, marketing operations, or performance marketing roles.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:
Proven experience managing multi-channel campaigns and customer journeys Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate into strategy Experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Ability to collaborate across marketing, analytics, and technology teams Experience in financial services or regulated industries preferred Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and respond quickly to shifting priorities.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Working on-site at assigned office location. Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership. Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand. Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations. Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time. Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls. Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
