We organise over 450 large-scale branded and transaction-led events in over a dozen specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed live and on-demand B2B events where industries convene and people gather to do business.
We also provide data and digital content, as well as year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads.

What we're looking for: The Director of Attendee Marketing is a strategic leadership role dedicated to shaping and executing a forward-looking attendee marketing strategy that delivers measurable business outcomes. This position is centered on leading a high-performing team to design and implement impactful campaigns, seamlessly aligning with the brand, operations, and strategic insights teams to convert strategic personas into event attendees through customer-centric journeys. By fostering collaboration and driving transformed ways of working, the role ensures strategic goals are met and event success is achieved. Additionally, it emphasizes turning strategy into action through agile methodologies, promoting flexibility, efficiency, and continuous improvement in marketing execution. This role reports into the VP of Marketing of the Portfolio.
Create a compelling attendee ticket proposition and pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with brand identity, operational priorities, and strategic insights.
Lead forward planning efforts to ensure marketing campaigns are proactive, data-driven, and designed to deliver measurable results.
Champion efficiency through agile practices by optimizing workflows, reducing time-to-market for campaigns, and ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.Deliver key outcomes such as attendee growth, engagement, satisfaction, and retention, supported by lead generation, demand generation, and attendee communication initiatives.
Team Leadership and ExecutionLead and mentor a high-performing marketing team of product marketeers, campaign managers, and communications planners, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
Oversee the development, briefing, and optimization of strategic campaigns that drive attendee engagement, ticket sales, and event participation.
Continuously optimize marketing initiatives based on performance data, attendee feedback, and market trends.
Collaboration and AlignmentBuild strong relationships with event teams within the portfolio to align on attendee jobs to be done, market trends to safeguard the value proposition to seamlessly translate from digital communications into onsite experience and embeds customer experience enhancements.
Partner with other portfolio pillars, including client marketing and content & audience teams, to design attendee-centric journeys that enhance engagement and deliver tangible results.
Data-Driven Decision MakingLeverage attendee intelligence and analytics to inform segmentation, targeting, and campaign strategies.
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement to deliver on stretch targets.
Run executive updates and sprint reviews to report on marketing impact, campaign performance, and next-step recommendations.
Attendee-Centric InnovationGather and prioritize attendee feedback to inform ticket proposition, pricing decisions, and event offerings, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand, operations, and strategic insights, to refine solutions and enhance attendee experiences.
Champion innovation by integrating advanced tools and technologies, such as agentic AI, to scale and personalize marketing efforts.
QualificationsProven experience in attendee marketing in high-paced environments, with expertise in strategic planning, ticket proposition development, and team leadership.
Strong ability to build cross-functional relationships, particularly with brand, operations, and strategic insights teams, to align on shared goals.
Data-driven mindset with a focus on delivering attendee-centric solutions and measurable outcomes.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
