Position Summary The Senior Director / Head of CRM & Lifecycle Marketing will lead the company's customer relationship and lifecycle marketing strategy across healthcare practitioners, patients, and consumers. This leader will be responsible for developing commerce customer segmentation, personalized journeys, and data-driven engagement programs designed to move customers from awareness and acquisition through activation, conversion, retention, replenishment, and advocacy. Working closely with HCP Marketing/Brand, Sales, Media & Performance Marketing, Amazon, and Analytics, this role will transform customer data and insights into personalized experiences that deepen relationships, increase practitioner and consumer engagement, and accelerate revenue growth. The role will also lead external CRM, technology, and agency partners as needed to build and deploy scalable lifecycle marketing capabilities. Key Responsibilities CRM & Lifecycle Strategy Develop and lead the enterprise CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy across healthcare practitioners, patients, and consumers. Build meaningful customer segmentation based on audience, behaviors, engagement, purchase history, value, needs, and lifecycle stage. Design differentiated journeys for HCPs, patients, prospects, new customers, existing customers, and lapsed customers. Establish lifecycle strategies spanning acquisition, onboarding, education, activation, conversion, replenishment, retention, cross-sell, win-back, and advocacy. Develop personalization strategies that deliver the right message, content, product, and next-best action based on customer needs and behavior. HCP & Practitioner Engagement Build practitioner lifecycle journeys that move HCPs from awareness and education to trial, recommendation, advocacy, and deeper brand engagement. Partner with Sales and HCP Marketing to develop lead-nurture and practitioner activation programs. Develop segmentation based on practitioner specialty, engagement, recommendation behavior, customer value, and growth potential. Create automated journeys that complement field sales activity and extend engagement between sales interactions. Identify opportunities to re-engage inactive or declining practitioner accounts and accelerate high-potential accounts. Partner with Sales to determine how CRM insights and engagement signals can help prioritize customer outreach and growth opportunities. Patient & Consumer Lifecycle Develop personalized consumer and patient journeys that support education, product discovery, conversion, adherence/replenishment, and retention. Build strategies to increase repeat purchase, purchase frequency, cross-sell, subscription/replenishment, and customer lifetime value. Develop abandoned journey, post-purchase, replenishment, lapsed-customer, and win-back programs. Connect practitioner-driven awareness and recommendation with downstream patient and consumer engagement where appropriate. Identify opportunities to deepen relationships across products and brands based on customer needs and behaviors. Marketing Automation & Customer Data Define the CRM data, technology, and marketing automation capabilities required to deliver personalized customer experiences at scale. Partner with internal and external partners to improve customer profiles, segmentation, identity resolution, and activation. Establish clear requirements for CRM and marketing automation platforms and ensure capabilities evolve with the business. Ensure customer data is captured and activated appropriately across relevant touchpoints and in accordance with applicable privacy and regulatory requirements. Manage external CRM, technology, and agency partners as needed. Measurement & Optimization Establish a rigorous measurement framework connecting CRM activity to customer behavior and commercial outcomes. Develop a disciplined test-and-learn roadmap across segmentation, messaging, cadence, offers, content, channels, and customer journeys. Measure performance at the audience and journey level and continuously optimize based on results. Build dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into lifecycle performance and customer health. Translate CRM insights into actionable recommendations for Sales, Marketing, DTC, and broader commercial strategy. Required Qualifications 10+ years of lifecycle/CRM experience, with direct experience in a practitioner, supplement, health/wellness, or B2B2C environment. Demonstrated experience developing segmentation strategies and personalized, automated customer journeys. Proven track record building complex multi-track journeys in enterprise CRMs/ESPs (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign). Deep understanding of HCP behavior, practitioner dispensary models, and patient compliance drivers. Strong analytical orientation with experience measuring customer lifetime value, retention, cohort behavior, conversion, and incrementality
Pay:
