Job Description

Overview We are supporting a partner‑led financial advisory firm in the search for a Head of Growth & Marketing . The firm works with companies, boards, lenders, and investors navigating complex situations, including financial distress, restructuring, and operational challenges. This is a senior leadership role responsible for owning firmwide marketing strategy, positioning, and visibility, while working closely with firm leadership to support business development and overall growth . The role offers broad ownership, high exposure to Partners, and the opportunity to shape how a respected advisory firm presents itself in the market. The position is fully remote within the US (New York or California candidates preferred) Role Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Positioning Lead and execute the firm's marketing strategy , aligned with growth objectives Own positioning, messaging, brand, and communications across all channels Oversee website direction and protect the firm's market reputation Provide leadership with insight into market positioning and pipeline trends Campaigns, Events & Visibility Drive targeted marketing and awareness campaigns Lead strategy for events, conferences, sponsorships, and hosted programs Prioritize initiatives based on impact and ROI Business Development Support Partner with Partners and Managing Directors on BD plans and pursuits Support relationship development, pitch materials, and priority opportunities Help identify and drive cross‑practice growth opportunities Marketing Operations & Leadership Manage marketing operations, infrastructure, and systems (CRM, knowledge management) Oversee marketing team workflow, vendors, and budget Establish scalable processes to support ongoing growth Required Background 10+ years of experience in restructuring or broader professional services marketing , advisory, consulting, or financial services Proven experience supporting senior leadership on marketing and BD initiatives Strong understanding of relationship‑driven marketing environments Comfortable operating in a partner‑led, high‑performance setting Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, execution‑oriented approach The role offers high visibility, real influence, and the ability to shape how a firm operating in complex, high‑stakes environments presents itself to the market.
