Market + Hunger Relief at Indian Creek Market Farm In 2024, GGN entered an agreement with MARTA to launch the Indian Creek Market Farm. Home of the founding farmers of GGN (the Umurima Collective), this site is for growers who are interested in cultivating produce for sale (versus home consumption). GGN has partnered with the farmers to host multiple pop-up markets, pick-your-own/pay-what-you-can events, and a weekly produce box (CSA:

Beginning in 2026, additional growers have registered at this site with the intention of taking part in market readiness training, accessing infrastructure to support sales activities (cold storage), developing economic resilience, and building connections with local buyers. To address growing demand for fresh produce at low cost, GGN has secured funding to address hunger relief efforts through The Market + Hunger Relief Project.
