Interim Director, Brand Marketing Provide senior brand leadership and business continuity during a temporary coverage period. Ensure successful execution of brand strategies, go-to-market and commercial activations, and portfolio priorities across Color, Care, and Styling while delivering against key business objectives and maintaining strong cross-functional alignment. 10+ years of progressive brand marketing leadership experience within beauty, professional beauty, prestige beauty, or consumer packaged goods. Proven track record of driving commercial growth and managing high-performing brands in the U.S. market. Strong expertise in brand strategy, portfolio management, and integrated marketing execution. Experience leading complex go-to-market programs across multiple customer channels. Strong commercial acumen, including business planning, budget management, and performance analysis. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix organization. Collaborative, decisive, and results-oriented leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Brand Leadership & Portfolio Management Lead day-to-day management of the Schwarzkopf Professional Color, Care, and Styling portfolio. Drive execution of annual brand priorities and growth initiatives while ensuring consistent brand positioning across all professional touchpoints. Business Performance Management Monitor and manage brand performance against key KPIs, including NES growth, GP1, market share, distribution, awareness, and conversion. Identify opportunities and risks and recommend actions to accelerate business performance. Go-to-Market Leadership Lead development and execution of integrated go-to-market plans, including pricing strategy, campaign activation and launch readiness. Ensure alignment across Sales, Trade Marketing, and Education teams. Consumer, Stylist & Market Insights Leverage consumer, stylist, customer, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities, strengthen brand equity, and inform marketing priorities and business decisions. Budget & Investment Management Oversee brand marketing budgets, activities phasing, and investment allocation. Ensure resources are deployed effectively to maximize business impact and return on investment. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Education, Finance, Operations, and Global Marketing teams to drive alignment and ensure flawless execution of key initiatives. Team Leadership & Development Provide leadership, coaching, and prioritization for the Brand Marketing team. Foster collaboration, accountability, and focus on high-impact initiatives while ensuring business continuity throughout the coverage period.
