8-10+ Years Position Overview The client is seeking an experienced Interim Director, Brand Marketing to provide senior-level brand leadership and ensure business continuity during a temporary coverage period. This role will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, execution, and performance of the Schwarzkopf Professional Color, Care, and Styling portfolio within the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in brand management, portfolio strategy, commercial marketing, and cross-functional leadership, with a proven ability to drive growth and deliver impactful go-to-market initiatives. Key Responsibilities Brand Leadership & Portfolio Management Lead the day-to-day management of the Schwarzkopf Professional Color, Care, and Styling portfolio. Drive execution of annual brand strategies, growth initiatives, and portfolio priorities. Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all professional touchpoints. Business Performance Management Monitor and evaluate brand performance against key business metrics, including: Net External Sales (NES) Gross Profit (GP1) Market Share Distribution Brand Awareness Consumer Conversion Identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and recommend actions to accelerate business performance. Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution Develop and execute integrated go-to-market plans. Lead pricing strategies, campaign activations, and product launch readiness. Ensure alignment and execution across Sales, Trade Marketing, and Education teams. Consumer & Market Insights Leverage consumer, stylist, customer, and competitive insights to guide business decisions. Identify market opportunities to strengthen brand equity and drive growth. Budget & Investment Management Manage brand marketing budgets and investment allocation. Optimize spending and resource deployment to maximize ROI and business impact. Oversee marketing activity planning and budget phasing. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Education, Finance, Operations, and Global Marketing teams. Drive organizational alignment and flawless execution of strategic initiatives. Team Leadership & Development Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the Brand Marketing team. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven culture. Ensure effective prioritization and business continuity throughout the engagement. Required Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive brand marketing leadership experience within: Beauty Professional Beauty Prestige Beauty Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Proven success driving commercial growth and managing high-performing brands in the U.S. market.
