Job Description
Job description: Cedar Group is looking to welcome a Client Services Marketing Manager who can lead client relationships, guide marketing and public relations work, and keep complex projects moving from strategy through delivery. Cedar's projects range from business strategy and branding to video production, websites, campaigns, and public relations. We are a team filled with diverse backgrounds, all contributing to our core values; spurring on economic development, community, and culture in the region. The most successful candidate will demonstrate a strong record of client service, strategic communication, budget oversight, account management, and a desire to be part of an organization that respects and reflects Alaska Native values. In this role, you will use your marketing insight, cultural understanding, and relationship-building skills to help clients feel supported and to guide projects to success.

Position can be inAnchorage Client Services Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
Overall client services and marketing management to include: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients. Develop a deep understanding of each client's organization, audience, goals, and business needs. Translate client goals into clear strategic marketing, PR, content, campaign, web, video, and branding priorities. Assess client needs, timelines, and budget considerations to develop strategic marketing plans and actionable marketing roadmaps. Analyze campaign and marketing performance metrics and provide clients with recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement. Assist in managing media buy schedules, advertising placements, and client media spend tracking. Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and media partners to facilitate successful execution of client deliverables and project needs. Lead client meetings, check-ins, status updates, and project conversations with clarity and confidence. Coordinate with internal teams to keep strategy, creative, communications, web, and production work aligned. Manage project plans, timelines, assignments, and updates in Monday.com software. Monitor scopes, budgets, and capacity; communicate updates and risks to clients and Cedar leadership. Support billing communication and respond professionally to client questions. Review client-facing materials for strategy, quality, accuracy, tone, and brand alignment. Write, edit, or guide copy as needed for client-based projects. Maintain organized digital files, contracts, meeting notes, assets, and approvals. Manage workload and competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met. Generate client and leadership reports that summarize account health, project status, budget needs, and next steps.Client Services Marketing Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field, and
- 5 years of proven experience in client services, marketing, communications, PR, account management, or project management
- Deep understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions and values in Alaska
- Strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to build trust and collaborate with diverse clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, written communication, organization, budget management and follow-through.
- Desire to be proactive, solve problems, and create a positive client experience for others.
