As Retail Marketing Manager, you will own the marketing that drives traffic and average order value at each location, building the campaigns, events, partnerships, and local presence that make us the destination in every market we serve. This is a hands-on, market-facing role for someone who knows multi-location cannabis retail, understands the advertising rules that govern it, and thrives on being close to the stores. You will work across retail operations, brand, creative, and wholesale partners, with the autonomy to plan and execute a full calendar of retail growth activity and direct access to marketing leadership.
Responsibilities Field & Local Marketing Field Marketing:
Manage local field marketing efforts that drive traffic to dispensary locations.
Events & Activations :
Plan and manage in-store events and activations that build awareness and traffic.
Out-of-Home Advertising:
Manage OOH advertising efforts to drive dispensary awareness within each market.
Retail Campaigns & Promotions Retail Support:
Support retail teams with promotional, POS, and campaign planning.
Campaign Building:
Build seasonal, monthly, and evergreen campaigns that increase both dispensary traffic and average order value.
Partnerships & Publicity Wholesale Partnerships:
Manage third-party wholesale brand partnerships to build engaging, traffic-driving in-dispensary promotions.
Press & Publicity:
Manage local press and publicity as it pertains to a given market area.
Social Media & Community Social Media:
Manage our social media efforts, including content creation.
Local Ambassadors:
Build and manage local brand ambassador partnerships.
Cross-Functional & Additional Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with retail operations, brand, creative, and CRM/lifecycle to align local activity with company priorities.
Additional Responsibilities:
Other responsibilities as outlined by marketing leadership. Requirements — Required Multi-location dispensary marketing experience. Working knowledge of the cannabis industry. Familiarity with state and local cannabis advertising restrictions. Experience managing local/field marketing, in-store events, and retail promotions. Strong project management skills, with the ability to run multiple markets and campaigns at once. Willing to work from the Greater Boston area office 2 days per week. Able to travel approximately 25% to dispensary locations, mostly in-state with occasional travel throughout New England. At least 21 years of age. No drug-related felony; ability to pass a comprehensive background check. Requirements — Preferred Social media content creation and brand-ambassador program experience. Established out-of-home and local press/PR relationships. Experience managing agency, wholesale, or brand partners.

From $80,000.00 per year
