Full Job Description Job Purpose:
The Senior Director of Marketing at Goodwill Industries of Dallas Inc is responsible for leading and overseeing the marketing strategies and initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans, managing a team of marketing professionals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with Goodwill Industries of Dallas Inc's mission and business objectives. Lead and manage the marketing team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing strategies are integrated with overall business plans and objectives. Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing efforts. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance. Ensure brand consistency and adherence to company values in all marketing communications. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas and technologies into marketing strategies.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred.
Required Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth. Experience in leading and managing a diverse marketing team. Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, brand management, and market research. Experience working in a non-profit organization or similar industry is a plus.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving organizational goals. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools to measure and optimize marketing performance. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Strong understanding of current marketing trends and best practices.
