Required Qualifications:
Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position. 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in creating and managing social media initiatives on a variety of social media platforms. Excellent knowledge of business account management of all social media channels including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and more. Demonstrated experience with social media data collection and analytics. A portfolio of work demonstrates the ability to tell complex stories in relatable terms. Proven ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications Law Enforcement and first responder experience. Social Media video creation experience. Job Description Create, curate, and publish high-quality, relevant, and engaging content (graphics, videos, photos, articles, and posts) across platforms including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Job Duties Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with ALERRT's mission, training initiatives, and outreach goals. Create, curate, and publish high-quality, relevant, and engaging content (graphics, videos, photos, articles, and posts) across platforms including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Collaborate with ALERRT curriculum and training coordinators, subject matter experts, and university partners to promote upcoming courses, events, success stories, and institutional announcements. Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure content remains fresh and impactful.
