MARKETING & DESIGN MANAGER

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Leads the Wichita Falls Multi-Purpose Event Center (MPEC) and Convention and Visitors Bureaus (CVB) in the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives that position Wichita Falls as a premier destination for tourism, events, and community engagement. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand recognition, customer engagement, and ticket sales, while elevating the visibility of city venues and hosted events. The Marketing and Design Manager will develop and executes integrated marketing campaigns to promote Wichita Falls as a destination and highlight MPEC venues and events, including concerts, conventions, festivals, and community programming to maximize attendance and revenue. Creates high-quality graphic design assets across print, digital, social media, and publications to support all marketing efforts. Plans and manages media buys across traditional and non-traditional platforms to optimize reach and return on investment. Collaborates with local businesses, tourism partners, and event organizers to align messaging and expand promotional reach. Oversees digital marketing channels, including website content, email campaigns, and social media strategy, while tracking, analyzing, and reporting on campaign performance to inform data-driven decisions. Ensures consistent branding and messaging across all platforms and initiatives.

Schedules may be subject to change with or without advance notice 2 S Graphically design high impact visual concepts that effectively market Wichita Falls for tourism and MPEC event related purposes. Must be proficient in Graphic Design. 3 S In conjunction with the CVB Marketing Plan, coordinate digital platforms, social media, website content and other targeted promotions to attract visitors to Wichita Falls. Curate images the CVB can employ in social media content and marketing efforts. Plan and coordinate social media communications and calendar as well as special communication projects and promotions. 4 S Design the CVB's Visitors Guide. Includes coordination of outside vendors, sourcing content, photographs and ad space. 5 S Write and edit copy for marketing materials including e-newsletters, blog posts, webpages and other assigned projects. 6 S In conjunction with the MPEC Marketing Plan, coordinate digital platforms, social media, website content and other targeted promotions to attract attendees to MPEC related events. This includes working with concert promoters, independent event planners and internal promotions of events.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience Over four years and up to and including eight years. Education Requires Associate's degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college education.
