66k-80k Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Retail Banking Market Manager to provide leadership and oversight across multiple retail banking locations in Wisconsin. This position is responsible for driving branch performance, developing and coaching retail banking teams, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring consistent operational and compliance standards across the market. The ideal candidate is a people-focused banking leader who enjoys developing teams, building customer relationships, solving complex challenges, and representing the organization within the communities it serves. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee daily retail banking operations across multiple branch locations within the Wisconsin market.
  • Coach, develop, and manage retail banking employees to improve performance, productivity, customer service, and professional growth.
  • Establish clear expectations for branch teams and provide the leadership and resources necessary to achieve organizational and market goals.
  • Promote a customer-focused environment centered on relationship development, personalized service, and long-term customer retention.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships and establish new customer relationships.
  • Monitor branch performance and work with teams to achieve established service, sales, operational, and growth objectives.
  • Oversee the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of retail banking employees.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for retail banking products, services, transactions, policies, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer concerns and internal banking inquiries.
  • Ensure retail banking activities are performed in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with internal departments and leadership to implement strategic initiatives across the market.
  • Maintain visibility throughout the market by participating in community organizations, events, networking opportunities, and leadership activities.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, customers, and community partners to strengthen the organization's presence within the communities it serves.
  • Travel between branch locations as needed to provide hands-on leadership and support. Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated retail banking, customer service, and sales experience required.
  • Previous supervisory, management, or team leadership experience required.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking products, services, transactions, and branch operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
  • Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, credibility, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities and provide leadership across multiple locations.
  • Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study through a business or trade school preferred.
