Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our team supporting the Ignite corporate office. This position is expected to be on-site.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with the corporate team to promote Ignite's brand, services, and thought leadership within the Government Contracting industry. Develop and manage engaging content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram) to increase brand awareness and audience engagement. Analyze engagement metrics and performance data. Maintain and update Ignite's website to ensure content remains current, relevant, and aligned with company messaging and brand standards. Design, maintain, and update Ignite's corporate branding materials, including capability briefs, one-pagers, trifolds, presentations, and other marketing collateral, ensuring consistency with the company's visual identity and messaging. Develop and distribute corporate communications, including employee communications, newsletters, press releases, announcements, and other internal and external messaging. Maintain and manage Ignite's corporate events and marketing calendar to ensure alignment with business priorities and industry opportunities. Coordinate with external vendors and partners for events and marketing initiatives, including catering, photography, media/press, tradeshow services, customers, and strategic partners. Plan and coordinate logistics for conferences, symposiums, and industry events including: Registration and booth coordination Marketing collateral and branded materials Swag items and booth setup Staff scheduling and event support Perform other marketing and communications duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational and time-management skills, and high attention to detail to consistently produce quality deliverables. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, or similar graphic design tools. Experience managing or supporting social media platforms. Ability to work full-time on-site at Ignite's Huntsville, AL corporate office.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience supporting corporate marketing efforts within the Government Contracting industry. Experience managing corporate social media accounts and marketing campaigns. Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress or similar). Experience leading or supporting corporate events, conferences, or trade shows.
Security Clearance Requirements :
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance if required in the future.
