Marketing and Content Specialist Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona - 4.1 Tucson, AZ Job Details Full-time $22.74 - $27.86 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Productivity software Full Job Description The Marketing and Content Specialist collaborates with key internal partners across the Community Food Bank (CFB), including teams in programs, community and philanthropy, technology, and administration. Some travel is expected for this position, with occasional evening and weekend work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing engaging, mission-driven content that elevates the Community Food Bank's brand, inspires community engagement, and supports fundraising and organizational goals. Write a copy that tells compelling stories that reflect the mission and impact of the Community Food Bank, including interviewing neighbors, donors, volunteers, staff, and community partners to develop these stories. Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic marketing, fundraising, advocacy, volunteer engagement, and community awareness initiatives. Support public relations and communications efforts across traditional and digital media channels. Produce and edit rapid-response communications and timely content related to community needs, hunger relief efforts, events, and organizational priorities. Maintain organizational voice, style, and messaging standards across all communication platforms. Support graphic design, photography, video, and multimedia projects as assigned. Apply best practices in marketing, storytelling, digital engagement, and nonprofit communications. Assist with marketing requests from across CFB and coordinate production based on project needs Support grant-related communications by coordinating with the grants team, including social and traditional media deliverables as required. Maintain and implement minor website updates, including text, graphics, and events. Create illustrations and graphic design assets as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field. Five years of experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with demonstrated organizational skills and strong follow-through. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ability to quickly learn new software platforms. Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes and possess a valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered if applicable and must be directly related to the functions and body of knowledge required to successfully perform the job.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 years of experience in a fast-paced, complex work environment demonstrating organizational and follow-through skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
