Job Description Millennium Space Systems, a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), is a fast, agile small satellite company focused on national security space. Our missions have direct impact to global security, like missile warning and Earth observation. Our team is curious, bold and innovative. Job Summary The Mission Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting the operations of satellite systems, including planning, executing, and analyzing satellite operations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure mission success and operational excellence. This position requires the ability to work any shift as needed. This position's internal job code is Mission Operations Engineer. Responsibilities Support satellite operations, including planning and executing satellite commands. Analyze satellite telemetry and performance data to ensure mission success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement operational procedures. Participate in mission planning and execution activities. Provide technical support during satellite operations. Document operational procedures and best practices. Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes. Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Experience with satellite operations or aerospace systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to work across shifts as required.
