This is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented professional who enjoys translating complex work into clear, compelling messaging. The position is onsite, in our Orange County, California office. The annual salary is $65,000 to $85,000 depending on skill and experience. We contribute $1000 per month towards healthcare plan premiums (medical, dental, vision) and offer a safe harbor 401(k) plan. Starting vacation is 3 weeks (accrued annually) and we observe 12 paid holidays per year. Role and Responsibilities Create, manage and update content on the website and social media channels in alignment with brand standards. Create and edit printed marketing materials. Create, launch and optimize email marketing campaigns. Assist with conference and event planning, including registration support, pre-event promotion, and post-event follow-up. Coordinate with engineers, scientists, and leadership to translate technical information into polished marketing content. Maintain organized marketing files, assets, and content calendars. Track campaign activity, website updates, and other marketing deliverables to support consistent execution. Help strengthen brand visibility and professional positioning in a niche expert services market. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the drive to produce accurate, high-quality work. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment. Graphic design skills, including the ability to create and edit vector graphics. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and scientists. Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine desire to learn. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting professional services, consulting, engineering, legal, scientific, or expert witness organizations. Experience coordinating conferences, trade shows, or marketing events. Experience using analytics tools to identify trends, evaluate performance, and support marketing decisions. Familiarity with HTML, structured data/schema markup, SEO best practices, and emerging AI-assisted search optimization techniques. Familiarity with WordPress or other website content management systems. Familiarity with Constant Contact or other email marketing platforms.
