intern The Organization Lindsay Wildlife Experience connects people with wildlife to inspire responsibility and respect for the natural world. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, it operates one of the oldest and largest wildlife rehabilitation hospitals in the United States, treating more than 5,500 injured and orphaned wild animals each year. The organization also offers robust education programs, an interactive exhibit hall, and year-round activities such as camps, after-school programs, hikes, and special events. Visitors can explore exhibits, meet animal ambassadors, and engage in unique experiences with more than 50 species of non-releasable native California animals. Supported by donations, Lindsay Wildlife Experience provides life-saving care for wildlife while creating meaningful opportunities for communities to learn, enjoy, and live in harmony with nature. The Position This internship is available to students and recent graduates who are interested in gaining more experience in the marketing field. The Events, Membership, and Marketing intern will primarily assist the Membership, Event Rentals, and Marketing Coordinator in hosting event rentals and maintaining positive relationships with members. In addition, the Events, Membership, and Marketing Intern will gain valuable experience in event coordination and planning, marketing drives, and community relations. Primary Responsibilities Overseeing event rentals such as birthday parties, corporate trainings, and baby showers Assisting with membership database management Brainstorming and writing content for email and social media marketing Designing graphics, signage, and social media images. Other responsibilities as required/available Qualifications This role is open to current college students and recent graduates. Background in Marketing, Business or Communications preferred, all academic disciplines will be considered.

Experience with Adobe Photoshop/Premier/Illustrator Social Media Graphic Design Hours, Benefits & Compensation This is an unpaid internship. Our in person program requires a commitment of 6-20 hours weekly. Hours are flexible but must be during regular business hours and at least one weekend day, Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Position may require lifting of objects up to 25lbs.
