The Opportunity Pixio is looking for a Content Creator & Community Specialist to join our growing marketing team. We're looking for someone with strong content creation and video editing skills who is passionate about gaming, creator culture, social media, and storytelling. The ideal candidate understands what performs on social platforms, enjoys creating content, and wants to play an active role in growing a brand. Content creation is the foundation of this role, but this position extends beyond simply making videos. You'll help support Pixio's social media presence, community engagement, creator and influencer partnerships, email marketing initiatives, product launches, and broader growth marketing campaigns. Reporting directly to the Growth Marketing Lead, you'll work closely with Creative, Ecommerce, and Product teams to bring campaigns to life, grow our audience, strengthen our community, and support the launch of new products and initiatives. You'll gain hands-on experience across social media, community management, influencer programs, email marketing, product launches, and growth marketing while helping shape how Pixio shows up online. What You'll Own Content Creation & Social Media Content creation is the core responsibility of this role. You'll be responsible for creating a consistent stream of engaging content that supports brand awareness, audience growth, product launches, promotions, creator partnerships, and overall business growth. Responsibilities Create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms. Concept, film, edit, publish, and optimize content from start to finish. Film content using both mobile devices and professional camera equipment. Develop content supporting product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives. Create a mix of trend-driven, educational, entertaining, community-focused, and product-focused content. Produce gaming, desk setup, lifestyle, creator, and behind-the-scenes content. Maintain and manage a rolling content calendar. Identify opportunities to capitalize on trends, conversations, and cultural moments. Monitor content performance and continuously optimize based on engagement, reach, audience growth, and business objectives. Video Editing & Content Production Strong editing skills are essential for this role. Responsibilities Edit social-first content using CapCut (required). Utilize Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools when appropriate. Create content optimized for each platform's native style and audience. Apply strong storytelling, pacing, hooks, captions, and retention-focused editing techniques. Demonstrate advanced mobile-first editing capabilities for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Repurpose content into multiple formats and creative variations. Balance speed, quality, and creativity in a fast-paced environment. Organize and maintain content libraries and creative assets. Community Management You'll serve as one of the primary voices of the Pixio brand online. Responsibilities Respond to comments, direct messages, questions, and community conversations. Engage with customers, creators, and brand advocates across social platforms. Support Discord, Reddit, and community engagement initiatives. Help foster a positive and engaged community around the Pixio brand. Monitor conversations and surface customer feedback, trends, and insights to the Growth Marketing team. Identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and community participation. Influencer, Creator & Affiliate Programs You'll support Pixio's creator ecosystem and partnership initiatives. Responsibilities Manage influencer gifting and creator seeding programs. Research and identify creators aligned with the Pixio brand. Coordinate creator outreach, product shipments, and campaign logistics. Support influencer, affiliate, ambassador, and creator partnership initiatives. Assist with creator campaigns, product launches, and brand activations. Track campaign deliverables and performance. Email & Lifecycle Marketing You'll support email marketing initiatives as part of the broader Growth Marketing team. Responsibilities Assist with email campaign strategy, messaging, subject lines, and creative concepts. Develop creative assets for email campaigns including graphics, GIFs, video content, and promotional assets. Support customer retention and lifecycle marketing initiatives. Contribute to subscriber growth and list-building efforts. Support A/B testing and campaign optimization efforts. Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Previous email marketing experience is not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Product Launch & Marketing Campaign Support You'll play an active role in supporting Pixio's product launches and growth marketing initiatives. Responsibilities Create launch content and campaign assets for new product releases. Support seasonal campaigns, promotions, and key sales events. Coordinate content across social media, creator partnerships, community channels, and email marketing. Assist with campaign execution and performance reporting. Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Ecommerce, Customer Support, and Product teams. What Success Looks Like Within your first year: Shoot, edit, produce and post consistently engaging, high-quality content across Pixio's social channels weekly Increase follower growth, engagement, reach, and community participation. Support successful product launches and marketing campaigns. Improve customer interaction and community engagement across social platforms. Expand creator, influencer, and affiliate participation. Contribute to subscriber growth and email marketing performance. Help establish social media as a meaningful driver of brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Continue developing into a well-rounded growth marketer with exposure across multiple marketing disciplines. QualificationsRequired 2+ years of experience creating content, managing social media accounts, or growing online communities. Advanced proficiency with CapCut. Strong mobile video editing skills and understanding of short-form content best practices. Experience creating content using both mobile devices and/or professional camera equipment. Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, Discord, and social media culture. Experience creating engaging short-form video content. Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Self-starter mentality with a strong bias toward action. Passion for gaming, technology, creator culture, PC hardware, or desk setups. Preferred Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or Adobe Creative Suite. Experience growing social media channels for a brand or creator. Experience managing influencer, affiliate, ambassador, or creator partnerships. Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Attentive. Experience working within gaming, consumer electronics, technology, lifestyle, or ecommerce brands.
