About Meal Prep Sunday Meal Prep Sunday is a fast-growing fitness meal prep company on a mission to become the #1 nationwide performance nutrition brand. We create chef-crafted, nutritionist-designed meals that help people stay consistent with their fitness goals without sacrificing time, quality, or taste. We are scaling quickly and are looking for a performance-driven operator who understands how creative execution and data work together to improve conversions, customer acquisition, and retention. Role Overview The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for improving how customers move through our entire marketing system—from first impression to final purchase and repeat orders. This role connects data, messaging, and creative execution to continuously improve performance across ads, social media, landing pages, checkout flow, and email marketing. You will identify what is working, understand why it works, and directly influence what gets created next to improve results.

In-person (Vista, CA) Key Responsibilities Analyze the full customer journey (ads, social media, landing pages, checkout, and retention flow) to identify drop-off points and opportunities for improvement Use tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Microsoft Clarity to understand user behavior and translate insights into actionable changes Develop and run A/B tests and performance experiments to improve conversion rates, revenue per visitor, and overall funnel efficiency Identify patterns in high-performing content and turn those insights into improved messaging, hooks, and creative direction Lead the planning and direction of content creation by shaping storyboards, scripts, hooks, and concepts for videographers and designers Collaborate with the creative team to plan and prepare photo and video shoots, ensuring content is aligned with what actually drives performance Work closely with the Marketing Director and founder to prioritize initiatives and focus efforts on the highest-impact opportunities Support copywriting across ads, landing pages, email campaigns, and website flow to improve clarity and conversion Continuously connect creative output with performance data to refine messaging, content strategy, and funnel execution Required Experience 2+ years in digital marketing, growth marketing, CRO, or performance marketing Strong understanding of funnels, customer behavior, and conversion optimization Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Clarity, etc.) Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks Ability to turn data insights into creative and strategic direction Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment What Will Set You Apart Experience with e-commerce or subscription-based funnels Hands-on experience optimizing landing pages, checkout flows, or ad performance Experience working directly with creative teams or content production Strong understanding of paid ads and performance creative Ability to think like both a marketer and a creative strategist Interest in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands Benefits Flexible schedule options Paid vacation and sick time Training and professional development opportunities Employee discounts on Meal Prep Sunday meals Referral bonus program Health insurance 401(k) eligibility
