This role involves engaging with the community to gather signatures for various petitions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work independently. Your efforts directly contribute to shaping policies and amplifying voices. You will be in charge of getting eligible voters to sign our petitions. Payment is $3.00 per issue. Choose your own schedule and hours Payment weekly Training and materials provided! Responsibilities Engage with community members door-to-door to explain petition goals and encourage signature collection Conduct canvassing campaigns in various neighborhoods, ensuring respectful and effective outreach Utilize strong communication skills to inform potential signers about the petition's purpose and importance Qualifications Previous supervising or leadership experience is a plus, especially in community outreach or sales roles Prior political or sales experience, such as canvassing, community outreach, campaign field work, or signature collection Strong marketing and customer service skills to effectively engage diverse audiences Experience with door-to-door canvassing, telemarketing, or sales environments preferred Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with a broader range of community members Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade respectfully Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings Knowledge of fundraising techniques and experience in community activism or advocacy is beneficial Must register, complete training and be approved by the Colorado Secretary of State to circulate petitions.
