POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Communications Specialist works under the direction of the Sr. Marketing Communications Strategist to support the marketing communications function for key business segment(s) including coordination and implementation of integrated marketing communications plans that effectively educate and promote the organization and our products to customers and prospects, covering all facets of traditional and digital media.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned, as necessary. 1. Coordination and Implementation of Marketing Strategy (50%) Assists in Integrated Marketing Communications planning for commercialization of products, new programs, campaigns promotions, and branding initiatives including but not limited to working with cross functional teams to develop creative briefs, tools, displays, promotional materials, etc. Supports the strategic development, design, and execution of all marketing media for new and existing products from conception to completion within schedules and budgets, in accordance with our Global Brand Identity. Media includes, but is not limited to, advertising, collateral, packaging, POP/displays, signage, samples, and email. Participate and assist in content and value proposition development; support multiple forms of content creation and distribution, such as advertisements, videos, catalogs, brochures, website, emails, presentations and newsletters. Lead cross-functional team meetings to ensure strong collaboration of current projects, timelines, risks, as well as product launch and other high-priority initiatives. 2. Marketing Media Coordination and Execution (35%) Contribute to development of drip/nurture email campaigns; execute using the Pardot platform in support of integrated marketing communications planning. Prepare customer direct mail campaigns, including generation of mailing lists and management of execution with external vendor(s). Coordinate and maintain all marketing tools inventory, including monthly analysis and semi-annual physical inventories to avoid obsolete materials and maintain low skid count; direct liaison with external vendor and sales team. Analyze usage rates to quote and purchase tools more effectively and efficiently in maintaining optimal inventory levels. 3. Project Management (15%) Work with Marketing Project Manager to prioritize projects through completion utilizing department project management software, including submission of work orders, development and management of timelines in coordination with graphics team leader for project prioritization and resource planning. Daily interaction with team members, vendor sourcing/negotiating/day-to-day management and receipt of goods. Manage the document retention and purchasing process for all marketing projects according to established department procedure including quoting ,purchase orders, invoicing and contractual agreements.Experience:
Bachelor's degree in the Marketing or Communications field is required. Master's preferred. Minimum 4+ years experience in product marketing/marketing communications experience, including traditional and digital media, in the B2B space. Prior experience handling projects from inception to completion. Familiarity with specifying and printing marketing collateral and tools, including press runs. Trade show, media advertising, and PR experience, including planning, preparation and execution a plus. Strategically solves problems and thinks broadly to develop creative solutions to project challenges. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment; outstanding time management skills. Excellent organizational skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating and communicating with various team members, with thorough follow-through to completion. Comprehends the interdependency of tasks related to successful completion of project. Ability to work with various personalities across multiple departments in meeting project needs. Good listening skills, verbal and written communication. Takes initiative, hands on direction, is self-motivated and assertive. Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees and customers. Knowledge and experience with a project management software such as Microsoft Project, Basecamp, Workfront, or equivalent preferred.Computer Skills:
thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Intermediate knowledge of and functional proficiency in ERP and CRM systems; Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Salesforce preferred.Travel Requirement:
