General Event Labor Helper (Seasonal, September-October)

Pay:
$18.00- $20.
Hours:
20-30 hours per week. Nights and weekends required.- About the work United Entertainment Solutions provides event production and staging services for weddings, brand activations, and live events across New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
- Load and unload trucks at the warehouse and on site
- Set up and tear down staging, decor, furniture, and event equipment for weddings and brand activations
- Assemble and strike tents, platforms, pipe and drape, and related gear
- Travel with the crew to event sites between New York and Massachusetts (company transportation from the warehouse)
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Follow directions from crew leads and site supervisors Schedule
- 20-30 hours per week through September and October
- Nights and weekends are when events happen, so you must be available for both
- Call times vary by event; schedules are communicated in advance What we're looking for
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly and stay on your feet for full shifts
- Reliable. If you're on the schedule, you show up
- Comfortable with physical outdoor and indoor work in varying conditions
- Able to get to our Waterbury warehouse (transportation to Waterbury provided for local hires; crews travel to event sites together from there)
- Team player with a good attitude on long days
