Job Description
Job Overview Event Transport Solutions is seeking professional, dependable, and vigilant Event Security Staff to support Bethune-Cookman University football games and other special events at Daytona Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida. In this role, you will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests, staff, performers, athletes, and vendors. Security personnel will assist with access control, crowd management, guest interactions, and incident reporting while representing Event Transport Solutions in a professional manner. This is an event-based independent contractor position, not a full-time or part-time job. Pay & Employment Details $20.00 per hour 1099 Independent Contractor position Direct deposit payment Net 30 payment terms (payment is issued within 30 days following the event after approved time records have been received) Additional event opportunities may be available throughout the year Responsibilities Monitor assigned areas to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff Perform access control and credential verification at designated checkpoints Assist with bag checks and entry screening procedures as directed Support crowd management efforts before, during, and after events Monitor restricted or credentialed areas Conduct roving patrols throughout event venues and parking areas Respond appropriately to incidents and notify supervisors of safety concerns Complete incident reports and event documentation as required Provide professional customer service while enforcing event policies Work closely with venue staff, event management, and public safety personnel Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Must be authorized to work in the United States Reliable transportation to Daytona Stadium Ability to remain standing and alert for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat, humidity, rain, and other weather conditions, including hurricane season conditions when events are held Ability to work shifts of up to 12 hours Strong communication and interpersonal skills Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, event operations, customer service, or related fields is preferred Licensing Florida Class D Security License is preferred Applicants without a license may still be considered depending on event assignments and experience Dress Code Applicants must provide and wear: Black khaki-style pants (no athletic wear, joggers, sweatpants, or shorts) Black belt Black closed-toe shoes or boots Event-issued security shirt, credentials, and additional event-specific gear will be provided. Required Availability Applicants must be available to work ALL scheduled Bethune-Cookman University home football games at
