Communications Manager Position Summary The Communications Specialist supports the execution of marketing and communication initiatives by producing high-quality visual and written materials. This role focuses on content creation, design, and day-to-day communication needs, ensuring all deliverables align with brand standards and organizational priorities. Working closely with the Communications Manager, this position plays a key role in maintaining consistency across member-facing and internal communications. Key Responsibilities Design & Creative Execution Design collateral and communication materials as needed, ensuring alignment with brand standards Create flyers and promotional materials for events, ensuring timely delivery and visual consistency Design and update menus, maintaining both print and digital versions Digital Content Management Maintain and update online menu postings on the website and/or app, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Human Resources Support Create and manage job postings for HR on platforms such as LinkedIn, ensuring consistency in tone, branding, and messaging Publications & Data Accuracy Support the annual member directory review process, ensuring accuracy, organization, and completeness of information General Support Assist the Communications Manager with day-to-day communication needs and project execution Ensure all materials meet quality standards, deadlines, and brand guidelines Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1-2 years of experience in communications, marketing, or design-focused roles Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar platforms Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Key Competencies Graphic design and visual communication Attention to detail and accuracy Time management and organization Adaptability and responsiveness Collaboration and teamwork Work Environment Flexible hours required, including evenings and weekends based on event schedules Ability to sit and stand for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Must wear appropriate attire for job duties and environmental conditions Must have reliable personal transportation
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
