Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Operations & Transformation Lead to support a nationally recognized consumer brand in evolving how its Restaurant Marketing organization plans, prioritizes, governs, and executes work. The Marketing Operations & Transformation Lead will evaluate the current state of the organization, identify opportunities to streamline workflows and clarify accountability, and develop a future state operating model that enables teams to work more efficiently and effectively at scale. This is not a traditional project management position focused solely on delivering individual initiatives. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $176,300.00. Wellness and Well being programs Your future duties and responsibilities: Operating Model & Organizational Transformation- Evaluate current Marketing workflows, organizational responsibilities, governance structures, decision-making processes, and team operating practices.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, remove unnecessary complexity, clarify ownership, eliminate duplication, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners to develop and implement a future-state operating model that strengthens accountability, scalability, speed, and quality of execution.
- Establish and document clear roles, responsibilities, decision rights, governance standards, and operating rhythms across the organization.
- Lead change management activities that encourage adoption of new processes, tools, workflows, and team behaviors.
- Identify near-term opportunities for improvement and implement meaningful quick wins within the first 90 days. Marketing Operations & Delivery Optimization
- Redesign and improve the end-to-end marketing delivery lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, briefing, creative development, testing, production, approvals, deployment, and post-launch evaluation.
- Develop scalable processes that effectively support both digital communication boards and creative.
- Strengthen planning, prioritization, capacity management, and resource allocation to ensure teams remain focused on the highest-impact initiatives.
- Establish defined handoffs and accountability across internal teams, agency partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Develop dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and operating reviews that provide visibility into priorities, capacity, risks, roadmaps, dependencies, and overall progress.
- Introduce repeatable processes and standards that enable consistent execution across multiple initiatives and channels. Cross-Functional Execution & Operational Leadership
- Develop and oversee integrated plans for high-priority initiatives while supporting the transition to the future-state operating model.
- Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to establish alignment, resolve issues, clarify decisions, and translate discussions into actionable next steps.
- Partner with stakeholders to proactively identify dependencies, risks, and barriers to execution.
- Support operational readiness activities, including approvals, quality assurance, version management, and final asset delivery.
- Maintain delivery continuity as teams transition to new processes and ways of working.
- Promote a culture centered on accountability, continuous improvement, operational discipline, and execution excellence. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, program management, management consulting, business transformation, agency operations, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success evaluating, designing, and implementing operating models, business processes, governance frameworks, or organizational transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholder groups, dependencies, and competing priorities.
- Strong change management and stakeholder engagement capabilities, including the ability to influence teams and leaders without direct authority.
- Experience facilitating workshops and working sessions that drive alignment, decision-making, and clear outcomes.
- Experience managing or improving creative and marketing workflows from initial planning through production and final delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate recommendations, risks, and progress effectively to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on process simplification and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project/work management platforms such as Microsoft Planner, Jira, Smartsheet, or comparable tools. Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience leading operating model, process improvement, or organizational transformation initiatives within a marketing, creative, advertising, or agency environment.
- Background working across both in-house marketing organizations and external agencies.
- Ability to move seamlessly between strategic transformation work and hands-on operational execution.
- Proven effectiveness working in ambiguous or evolving environments and creating structure where processes or ownership may not yet be clearly defined.
- Strong systems-thinking capabilities with an understanding of how workflows, governance, technology, organizational structure, and team behaviors influence one another.
- Consultative approach with the ability to quickly establish credibility and build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong focus on creating simpler, more scalable, and more effective ways of working.
