Hours Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm Classification Exempt Travel 15-30% Employment is conditioned on DMG MORI's ability to obtain and maintain any necessary export licensing.
Essential Job Functions:
The Marketing Specialist primarily responsible for internal and external communication and advertising efforts supporting the US market. Primary scope of position includes but is not limited to: Managing Internal communication efforts, including an internal company newsletter (monthly) and content management on the corporate Intranet for

USA, including content research & management, designing in InDesign, preparation of reporting and engagement monitoring. Supporting Social Media activities including creating visuals and wordings for local content for all

channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X) Aligning local Communication efforts with Global Marketing, USA Marketing Team & manager Creating and managing localized content for websites and support with external Newsletters to help team efforts Coordination of content management systems, used in various settings, including internal sales information, video & content management on screens across the USA, website adjustments, etc. Technical content management, including coordination of customer success story articles & video, as well as proof reading, adaptation of prepared texts provided by Global Marketing Creation of communication material and invitations for events: incl. preparation of briefings for graphics designers, design in InDesign if appropriate, proofread invitation before final approval Support with planning, organization and preparation of Press Conferences and Press Roundtables during events and exhibitions including invitation of journalists, follow-up on attendance, etc. Graphic design work for various purposes International travel and project involvement possible Support for administrative tasks related to event preparations Support with other projects within the team, as assigned, e.g. digital marketing projects Preparation of documentation materials for Management approval and Meetings Other duties and projects assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in a related field or the equivalent in related work experience 1 to 5 or more years of related work experience Self-starter with structured, hands-on, independent, and proactive way of working. Experience with Social Medial and other digital platforms and content management systems Experience in Machine Tool or technical Industry preferred
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) Interest in technical products & affinity for digital marketing tools Desire to work in an international, market-leading company. Skills in graphics design Software preferred (InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Photoshop) Ability to work with high volume activity
Work Environment:
Spends time in office setting primarily, but not exclusively. Travel within USA and internationally possible to support communication efforts, events, customer or press delegations spend time in the manufacturing environment (assembly, machining, and quality control facility). Exposed to possible hazards including and not limited to high noise, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.

Sitting at a desk, utilizing computers and phones. Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements.
Periodic:
Standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
Occasional :
Business travel. Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects.
