About Joe's Kids Joe's Kids is a rapidly growing non-profit pediatric therapy clinic that provides physical, occupational, speech and dyslexia tutoring therapy services. We serve children with a wide variety of ability levels and diagnoses, including sensory processing disorders, autism, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, brain injury, speech delay, dysphagia, and other genetic, neurological and orthopedic conditions. FUNCTION
Marketing and Event Support
POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist develops and executes promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and growth by analyzing market trends and clinic data. Key responsibilities include creating and managing content for various platforms, running digital advertising campaigns (SEO/SEM), tracking campaign performance, and collaborating with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business goals. Essential skills for this role include strong communication, analytical abilities, and proficiency in digital marketing tools and strategies.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Development:
ü Designing and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital (social media, email, website) and traditional media. ü Work closely with the Director of Development to research and generate donor leads. ü Implement and monitor annual marketing strategic plans.
Content Creation:
ü Producing high-quality, engaging content such as website copy, blog posts, social media updates, and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency. ü Assist in the creation and distribution of monthly newsletters and quarterly mailers. ü Managing SEO and SEM (search engine marketing) campaigns to optimize online visibility through the webpage and advertising on platforms like Google and social media. Partnerships & Community Engagement ü Serve as the primary liaison between the clinic and schools, families, referring practitioners, and community partners. ü Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and educators about student progress. ü Assist in representing Joe's Kids at community events, meetings, and outreach activities. Event Planning & Implementation ü Assist in the solicitation of donations, attendees and sponsors, ensuring communication up to and during the event. ü Source, negotiate, and manage various vendors and suppliers, such as caterers, equipment, linens, and audiovisual technicians. ü
On-Site Execution:
Help to oversee day of event activities, assist in managing staff and volunteers, handling any issues that arise, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. ü Promote and oversee the rental of Joe's Kids' event room, ensuring payment, contract signature, set-up, and clean up of space. Data & Reporting ü Collect and analyze data to assess student growth, program impact, and areas for improvement. ü Analyzing campaign performance data to measure effectiveness, accuracy, calculate ROI, and identify areas for improvement, then reporting findings to management. ü Prepare reports for leadership, funders, and stakeholders. ü Use data to guide instructional adjustments and program enhancements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience ü Associate's degree in marketing, Community Relations, or High School diploma with 4 years related experience required. ü Minimum of 2 years in a marketing and/or development role required. Skills & Competencies ü

The ability to analyze data, understand market trends, and use insights to optimize strategies. ü
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication for crafting compelling messages and collaborating with various stakeholders. ü
Digital Marketing Proficiency:
Expertise in areas like SEO, SEM, social media management, and email marketing. ü
Content Creation:
Skills in developing and managing content across different platforms. ü
Project Management:
The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and tasks simultaneously. ü Attention to
Detail:
Ensuring accuracy in campaign materials, data, and reports. ü Computer skills and proficiency, including Microsoft Office Products, Google Docs, and marketing software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
ü Primarily office-based with occasional visits to off-site locations. ü Some evening and weekend hours may be required for events or special programs.
