Brooke Gibson Job Summary/Basic Functions The Marketing Strategist develops, implements, and optimizes data-driven marketing strategies in support of EKU's institutional priorities, including enrollment, brand, academic programs, and student success. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategy and Creative, this position ensures marketing initiatives are targeted, measurable, and aligned with institutional goals. The Marketing Strategist executes audience segmentation, campaign performance analysis, and multi-channel marketing strategy- including content and copywriting
- to drive engagement and conversion across key audiences.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field. Experience may be substituted for specific degree requirements but not educational level.Experience:
Two years of experience in marketing, content development, or communications. Experience with multi-channel marketing campaigns and digital platforms preferred. Familiarity with CRM systems (Technolutions Slate preferred) a plusLicensure & Certifications:

35%- Strategic Campaign Development & Execution Develops and implements multi-channel marketing strategies integrating email, digital advertising, social media, print, and web content in support of institutional marketing priorities.

- Content Development & Copywriting Writes and edits audience-specific copy for email campaigns, web pages, social media, digital advertising, print collateral, and video scripts.

- Audience Segmentation & Personalization Leverages Technolutions Slate and other digital marketing platforms to develop targeted campaigns tailored to distinct audience segments. Implements A/B testing, automation workflows, and behavioral triggers to enhance marketing effectiveness. Ensures campaign messaging and visuals are appropriately tailored for each segment and funnel stage.

- Performance Analytics & Optimization Tracks and analyzes marketing KPIs including click-through rates, conversions, engagement, and yield to inform decision-making. Uses Google Analytics, CRM dashboards, and reporting tools to measure and refine marketing effectiveness. Provides data-driven recommendations for campaign adjustments, messaging refinements, and budget considerations.

- Collaboration & Project Managemen Works with Admissions, Enrollment Management, Student Success, and other campus partners to ensure marketing efforts support institutional priorities. Supports project management functions including marketing calendars, deadlines, and vendor/agency coordination.
