Job Description

Digital Services Assistant (Temporary, Full-Time - 12-Month Contract)
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week (Hybrid potential)
Pay Range :
$25-$35 per hour A mission-driven organization is seeking a Digital Services Assistant to support digital marketing and communications initiatives that drive audience engagement and philanthropic support. This role contributes to fundraising and engagement strategies by helping deliver high-quality digital communications across multiple channels. Key Responsibilities Build, proof, and test email communications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Draft and adapt email content from approved campaign and web copy Perform quality assurance testing on email campaigns, including link validation, accessibility compliance, formatting consistency, and cross-device compatibility Update and maintain multiple websites, including publishing content, updating images, and conducting basic quality checks Source, optimize, and manage digital images for use across digital platforms Create and publish content for internal communication platforms and intranet sites Manage and complete tasks with quick turnaround times while maintaining accuracy Conduct basic usability checks and identify opportunities to improve the digital user experience Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to ensure timely completion of digital projects Respond promptly and professionally to content updates, revisions, and internal requests Assist with reporting and analysis of email and website performance metrics, including engagement and click-through data Provide general support for digital marketing and communications initiatives as needed
Qualifications Required:
At least one year of relevant experience in digital communications, email marketing, website management, or digital communications (internship experience considered). Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and quality assurance. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. Effective written communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with email marketing tools and content management systems. Ability to work independently Strong collaboration skills and ability to incorporate feedback constructively. Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and systems. Understanding of digital marketing best practices, including email testing, accessibility, and usability principles.
Preferred:
Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Experience with content management systems such as Drupal. Familiarity with intranet platforms such as SharePoint. Basic HTML and CSS knowledge for email and web content updates. Experience sourcing, editing, and optimizing digital images. Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing a high volume of digital tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
