Job Description As a Product Information Engineer, you will work directly with our COMSOL Multiphysics ® platform product, which is used in all fields of engineering, manufacturing, and scientific research to simulate designs, devices, and processes. You will also work with its many add-on modules, which provide specialized functionality for electromagnetics, structural mechanics, acoustics, fluid flow, heat transfer, and chemical engineering. In this role, you will enable our users to better leverage the software's features and capabilities by proactively creating clear and effective written and video materials, primarily for the COMSOL Learning Center . This role centers on continuously expanding your own knowledge of the software and effectively disseminating it, while also collaborating with application engineers, product specialists, and other technical experts. You will start by producing technical articles and tutorial videos to build a foundational understanding of the software, eventually growing into more expansive projects based on your skills and interests. You will also coordinate and support other colleagues to transform their knowledge into digital training materials for our users. As part of the Product Information team, you will collaborate closely with other teams and departments, bridging product development, marketing, and sales through clear technical communication. You will work to both support and advocate for the use of the resources our team develops. You will also work to enhance our end-users' knowledge of our digital training. The cross-functional nature of this role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships across teams and departments to deliver exceptional digital training resources, which support the adoption of COMSOL Multiphysics worldwide. Responsibilities Work in the COMSOL Multiphysics software and write and record content on how to use it Continuously expand your knowledge of the software and its workflows to help foster product adoption among users Aid in coordinating content projects related to the platform product as well as various add-on products Aid in coordinating digital training efforts Learn and become proficient with the authoring tools, publishing platforms, and processes used to create, review, and deliver digital learning resources Outline, record, and support the production of marketing and tutorial videos Review highly technical content for a broader audience Serve as a resource for internal teams by sharing knowledge about the software and its capabilities Minimum Qualifications B.S. in an engineering field Ability to communicate complex topics between technical and nontechnical parties Excellent interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask Current eligibility to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship for employment-based visas will be offered for this position, F-1 visa holders not accepted Helpful Qualifications M.S. in an engineering field Experience with CAD or CAE software, namely COMSOL Multiphysics Experience with project management 1-3 years of professional experience working cross-functionally with product development, sales, and marketing teams A well-rounded skillset with marketing and sales acumen Multidisciplinary technical aptitude beyond a core engineering discipline Interest or experience with technical writing Interest or experience with video production/editing About
