QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Business or other related field preferred. Three + years of previous in a digital marketing or advertising position. Experience in healthcare or non-profits preferred. Well versed in specialized marketing concepts and tactics with demonstrated experience in the use of social media for marketing purposes, experience in the measurement and analysis of web traffic and social media metrics, ability to successfully conduct market research. Previous experience with Google AdWords. Knowledge of content management systems. Previous project management experience required along with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred. Maintains a valid Michigan driver's license and has the availability of a reliable, licensed, and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan. SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Communications Specialist promotes Centrica Care Navigator's brand and positive public image through written and graphic communication by identifying consumer behavior trends and generating creative ideas for communication methods and pieces. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Primary Duties Assists the Marketing and Business Development Directors in the development of compelling content about Centrica Care Navigators through market research, writing, photography and photo editing and basic graphic design for use in presentations, on the website and through multiple social media channels. Design and oversee all aspects of our digital marketing including our marketing database, email, display advertising campaigns as well as management of Google Ad Grant account. Provides market research and tracking information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends. Evaluate important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience. Provides data collected to support and to provide guidance to support our Community Partner Liaisons and other departments for data driven business strategies. Leads in the implementation of on-line marketing campaigns/plans through the agency website and use of social media including Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, etc. Monitors and assesses our on-line presence using web and social media analytics (e.g. Google Analytics). Composes, posts, manages, and monitors all social media postings and recommends strategies for expanding our social media presence. Identify the latest trends and adapt them to be used with Centrica Care Navigators branding strategies. Supports team in the maintenance and content development for the agency's websites. Ensure all projects are completed as scheduled, within budget while meeting original objectives. Updates spreadsheets, databases and other tracking mechanisms with statistical, financial and other relevant information. Work with the marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies. Global Duties Actively participates in organization-wide performance improvement activities. typical eight (8) hour workday includes intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand motions associated with writing and computer keyboard typing. Travel to promote program. CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Centrica Care Navigators staff are expected to participate in appropriate continuing education as may be requested and/or required by their immediate supervisor. In addition, staff are expected to accept personal responsibility for other educational activities to enhance job-related skills and abilities. All staff must attend mandatory educational programs.
