Job description About Us Since 1989, SHI International Corp. has helped organizations change the world through technology. be a $16 billion global provider of IT solutions and services. organizations worldwide rely on SHI's concierge approach to help them solve Our commitment to diversity, as the largest minority- and woman-owned enterprise in the U.Health, wellness, and financial benefits to offer World-class facilities and the technology Content Strategist & Writer - Spend Optimization Services to support the Spend This role is responsible for developing clear, compelling content that drives thought leadership, strengthens brand positioning, and supports campaign This position blends content strategy, editorial storytelling, and marketing writing, translating complex spend optimization, cost management, and IT financial management technologies, strategies, trends, and innovations into clear, value-driven narratives that resonate with target The Content Strategist partners closely with product and solutions marketing, growth marketing, demand generation, creative teams, and subject matter experts to create content that educates buyers, differentiates SHI in the content strategies aligned to Spend Optimization Services business goals, technical and financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives Own full-funnel written content across formats (blogs, eBooks, whitepapers, defined target personas, and messaging aligned to awareness, consideration, and decision stages Collaborate on non-written content formats such as video, podcasts, infographics, and social media assets to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels Create product-adjacent and partner-facing content, including solution briefs, one-pagers, and FAQs, while partnering with creative teams on web copy Develop innovative approaches to building awareness and demand in a data-driven, cost-optimization-focused landscape, including buyer-led topic clusters and modular, reusable content strategies Utilize AI tools effectively ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with brand voice and guidelines Support content publishing in SHI's Resource Hub using WordPress, ensuring proper tagging, organization, and discoverability Monitor industry trends related to IT spend optimization, licensing, cost management, and financial governance, and Integrate cross-solution messaging and align content to broader company narratives where appropriate Continuously improve existing content through refreshes, repackaging, and optimization SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) best practices to improve content discoverability, search rankings, and performance across web and campaign assets What success looks Content is clear, credible, and grounded in real buyer needs Content quality, and sales enablement Content planning aligns to buyer journeys and structured topic clusters Content reflects industry insights and performs across traditional search and AI-driven discovery platforms Stakeholders trust your strategic recommendations and content expertise SHI is increasingly recognized
Self-Development:
Can set personal development goals and utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance in utilizing creative design applications such as Adobe Illustrator to create HTML and CSS for web design and development tasks. apply SEO principles and best practices to enhance the visibility and performance of web designs. Intermediate Other Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Communications or a related field, or equivalent work experience 7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or B2B/technical writing Proven experience writing across multiple formats, including digital, long-form, and executive-level content Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas effectively Experience working with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, and subject matter experts Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Asana, WordPress, and SEMrush Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events as needed Preferred Experience in spend optimization, IT financial management, licensing, procurement, or cost optimization services Familiarity with product marketing concepts such as enablement or go-to-market aligned content The estimated annual pay range for Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
