This position is well suited for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, translating business needs into practical solutions, demonstrating capabilities, and supporting sales opportunities from discovery through proposal, RFP/RFI response, solution definition, and a supporting role in ongoing customer success. The role requires strong communication skills, comfort with data and technology, curiosity about customer problems, and the ability to explain complex solutions in clear, practical terms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Sales and Sales Support Partner with Sales to support prospect and customer opportunities from initial discovery through solution recommendation, proposal, and implementation handoff. Support opportunity qualification by identifying technical fit, potential risks, implementation considerations, dependencies, and customer readiness. Support presentations, proposals, and customer meetings with clear technical and business-oriented explanations. Product Demonstrations and Technical Presentations Deliver tailored product demonstrations for prospects and customers. Demonstrate MedPro capabilities related to healthcare licensing data, HCP/HCO data management, APIs, data files, integrations, and platform functionality. Configure or prepare demo scenarios that reflect customer workflows, use cases, and business challenges. Explain technical concepts such as data flows, matching logic, integrations, API usage, file exchange, system touchpoints, and data quality processes in a way that is easy for non-technical audiences to understand. Create and maintain reusable demo scripts, demo data examples, technical FAQs, and presentation materials. RFP/RFI and Proposal Support Support technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, vendor assessments, data questionnaires, and related customer procurement requests. Coordinate input from internal teams, including Product, Development, Security, Legal, Customer Success, Data Quality, and Operations, to ensure responses are accurate and complete. Maintain reusable response content, standard solution language, and product capability descriptions. Help ensure RFP/RFI responses clearly communicate MedPro's capabilities, differentiators, assumptions, and fit for the customer's stated needs. Solution Definition and Integration Support Translate customer requirements into practical solution recommendations, high-level workflows, data exchange models, and implementation approaches. Develop or contribute to solution summaries, integration notes, data mapping documentation, business requirements, and internal handoff materials. Work with internal teams to validate technical feasibility, delivery considerations, and customer-specific requirements. Support proof-of-concept activities, pilot discussions, data evaluations, and technical validations when needed. Help ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales solution definition to post-sale implementation by documenting customer goals, scope, assumptions, risks, and key decisions. Customer, Product, and Market Feedback Capture recurring customer requirements, integration needs, objections, competitive themes, and market trends. Share customer and prospect feedback with Product, Development, Customer Success, and leadership to support roadmap discussions and process improvements. Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity that may affect MedPro's customers and market positioning. Attend trade shows, customer visits, and industry events as needed to support Sales and gather market insight. Internal Enablement and Cross-Functional Collaboration Develop and deliver training for Sales, Customer Success, Support, Data Quality, and other internal teams on MedPro products, customer use cases, technical capabilities, and solution positioning. Contribute to internal knowledge bases, process documentation, solution playbooks, demo materials, and product reference content.
