Job Description
Compensation:
$60,000 - $70,000Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and develop legal case write-ups, including settlement and verdict stories, incorporating SEO best practices Draft and edit legal blogs, articles, press releases, website content, newsletters, attorney biographies, award submissions, firm announcements, marketing materials, and other written communications Assist in developing and maintaining an organized editorial calendar and content pipeline to ensure consistent production of case write-ups, blogs, articles, and other marketing content Assist with keyword research and identifying content opportunities that can improve the firm's organic search visibility Help optimize the firm's website and blog content for search performance, readability, relevance, and user experience Identify noteworthy cases, settlements, verdicts, attorney accomplishments, community involvement, firm news, and other opportunities that can be developed into compelling content Repurpose case write-ups and other long-form content for use across the firm's website, social media platforms, email marketing, newsletters, press materials, and other marketing channels Assist with developing concepts, scripts, talking points, interview questions, and other written materials for video and social media content Proofread and edit marketing and communications materials for grammar, clarity, tone, consistency, accuracy, and brand standards Utilize AI-powered tools, when appropriate, to assist with research, brainstorming, content planning, editing, repurposing, and marketing efficiencies Assist with social media content development, scheduling, research, and other digital marketing initiatives Conduct research related to marketing opportunities, media outreach, awards, community involvement, and industry trends Assist at trade shows, conferences, community events, sponsorships, and other firm-related events Provide administrative and project support to the Marketing Department as needed Assist with additional marketing, communications, public relations, and firm initiatives as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field preferred Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to take detailed, technical, or complex information and turn it into polished, engaging content Strong interviewing and information-gathering skills Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously Sufficient understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), including SEO-focused content writing, keyword research, content optimization, and digital content best practices Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn Strong familiarity with digital marketing, content development, and social media platforms Comfortable communicating and collaborating with attorneys, clients, vendors, and individuals at all levels of the organization Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and their appropriate use in marketing, content development, research, and workflow efficiency Ability to use AI tools thoughtfully and responsibly while maintaining originality, accuracy, quality, and appropriate human oversight Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team Previous writing experience through internships, employment, school publications, journalism, communications, or a writing portfolio is strongly preferred Driver's license with reliable transportation is a must Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
