Position Overview Strategic Communications & Public Affairs Specialist Position Purpose Under the direction of the Chief of Staff/ Marketing Officer, the Strategic Communications & Public Affairs Specialist executes external communications initiatives that advance the firm's advocacy efforts, litigation and policy efforts, public awareness, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership objectives. This role works closely with the Chief of Staff/Marketing Officer to communicate the firm's impact, document key initiatives, support public affairs efforts, and implement communication strategies that inform clients and external audiences. The primary focus for this role is up Key Responsibilities Strategic Communications Execution Videography expertise, live stream meetings, and producing media and marketing material from video and photo collateral. Execute communication strategies, campaigns, and initiatives developed by the Chief of Staff/Marketing Officer. Collaborate with the Chief of Staff/Marketing Officer to communicate the firm's advocacy, governmental engagement, and public impact efforts. Support executive communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives through content development and storytelling. Client Communications & Case Updates Draft and distribute client newsletters, email campaigns, and informational updates under the guidance of the Chief of Staff/Marketing Officer. Translate legal, legislative, political, and regulatory developments into client-friendly communications. Assist in keeping clients informed regarding significant developments affecting mass tort and complex litigation matters. Public Affairs & Media Relations Support media outreach efforts, press opportunities, and public-facing communication initiatives directed by the Chief of Staff/Marketing Officer. Draft press releases, media advisories, talking points, and supporting materials. Coordinate media requests and facilitate news coverage when appropriate. Content Creation & Storytelling Document advocacy efforts, legislative engagement, client impact stories, community initiatives, and significant firm activities through photography, videography, and written communications. These skills are imperative for success in the role. Produce multimedia content that advances strategic communication objectives established by leadership. Assist in communicating the broader impact of the firm's work to clients, stakeholders, and the public. Key Accountability Successful execution of strategic communications initiatives established by the Chief of Staff/Marketing Officer, resulting in informed clients, increased public awareness, and consistent messaging regarding the firm's advocacy and impact.

$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
