Job Description

Join Consumer Bank Marketing Analytics to transform data into insight and improve how customers discover, open, and use our products. As a Data Scientist Lead, you will lead analytics for banker assisted account opening experience, partnering across Product, Technology, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Risk/Compliance to shape strategy, measurement, and prioritization. In a cross-functional quad, you will own analytics strategy, define success metrics, size and evaluate experiments, and optimize dashboards to drive account production and improve the customer and banker experience. You will translate complex analyses into clear, data-driven recommendations for senior stakeholders, and leverage AI capabilities to accelerate delivery and improve consistency.

  • + Own the analytics strategy, planning and execution for banker assisted account opening experience, turning business problems into hypotheses, measurement plans, and decision-ready insights + Shape the banker assisted account opening roadmap by identifying legacy platform capability gaps and quantifying the opportunity in customer impact and business value to align the quad on the highest impact strategic workstreams + Provide actionable analytics for product and feature launches and customer journey optimization by measuring ongoing improvements and quantifying impact on account production and quality + Lead experimentation analytics by sourcing data, defining success metrics and guardrails, sizing A/B tests, analyzing results, and communicating recommendations to quad members and senior leadership + Build and continuously optimize business intelligence and measurement frameworks by defining and governing KPIs, standardizing metric definitions, and improving dashboard usability and reliability to enable consistent reporting and faster, better decisions on banker adoption and account production drivers + Continuously lead innovation projects to drive more advanced analytics + Apply AI tools and automation to streamline analysis workflows, reduce cycle time, and accelerate insights + Provide leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists across CB Marketing Analytics organization as a subject matter expert for branch account opening experiences and metrics + Maintain a rigorous controls environment to ensure accurate and timely results •Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities•+ Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, MIS, or related field + 5+ years of experience in analytics/data science supporting customer journeys, digital products, or operational workflows + 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python + 5+ years of experience with Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Alteryx (or comparable tools) + Proven experience defining KPIs and building measurement frameworks (including guardrails and data quality checks) + Demonstrated experience sizing and evaluating A/B experiments and communicating results to business and technical audiences + Strong dashboarding/BI skills (metric governance, performance optimization, and executive-ready reporting) + Strong PowerPoint/slide-writing and storytelling skills to deliver clear narratives and recommendations + Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead through ambiguity and drive outcomes + Strong communication skills to translate complex analyses into clear narratives for executive, business, and technical audiences + Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results •Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities•+ Experience in financial services and/or other regulated environments + Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools (i.
