  • Specialty Gases is a hybrid position located in or near Tamaqua/ Allentown, PA (preferred) with other customer site locations considered. There will be up to 20% domestic and potentially international travel required to meet business needs. Customer Applications Expert
  • Specialty Gases Join our Electronics Specialty Gases team as a Customer Applications Expert where you'll serve as the critical technical bridge between our innovative Specialty Gas products and the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers.
In this high-impact role, you'll drive new product adoption, identify cutting-edge material opportunities, and ensure our customers achieve breakthrough results in advanced semiconductor fabrication. Why Join Our Team Work at the forefront of semiconductor innovation with leading-edge materials Strategic visibility with executive leadership and key global customers Opportunity to shape the future of specialty gas applications in advanced nodes Drive New Product Success Identify and champion new Process of Record (POR) opportunities across current and next-generation technology nodes, focusing on innovative materials for semiconductor manufacturing Lead key customer-facing aspects of the complete product lifecycle from initial opportunity identification through successful high-volume manufacturing (HVM) ramp Build and manage a robust pipeline of POR opportunities to achieve yearly revenue targets as well as the 5-year strategic growth ambitions of Specialty Gases Lead Technical Customer Engagement Conduct quarterly Technical Review meetings and annual Technology Roadmap sessions as applicable with customers Translate complex customer requirements into actionable development priorities for our R D and marketing teams Deliver technical presentations and strategic proposals that advance customer objectives and strengthen partnerships Collaborate Across the Organization Partner with Market Managers, R D teams, and account managers to prioritize development efforts based on commercial potential and customer timing Coordinate with our MBER team for sample planning and fulfillment of developmental products Leverage Salesforce (SFDC) and data analytics tools to drive informed decisions and maintain pipeline visibility Resolve Technical Challenges Act as the primary escalation point for customer quality issues and technical concerns related to Specialty Gas products Guide cross-functional teams to deliver rapid, effective solutions that resolve customer issues and maintain high customer satisfaction Assess competitive landscape and provide strategic intelligence on materials technology trends Minimum Qualifications BS degree in science, engineering, or related field with 5+ years or MS (or PhD) in science, engineering, or related field with 3+years in the semiconductor industry with customer-facing technical or commercial roles Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, material science, and IC fabrication Preferred Skills Proven ability to develop productive relationships with customers at multiple organizational levels (engineering, procurement, executive) Exceptional communication and influencing skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to deliver on commitments under tight timelines Strong analytical capabilities including data analytics, pipeline management, and forecasting Collaborative team player with ability to work effectively across global, matrixed organizations Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and business intelligence tools Preferred Experience Advanced degree (PhD) in science, engineering, or related field Background in fab operations or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environments Hands-on experience in technical marketing, commercial negotiations, and project management Track record of successful new product introductions (NPI) and POR wins Pay range for this position: $120,200
  • $180,200 The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position.
The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
