(Field Sales and Partner Recruitment Associate) Job Description This role focuses on recruiting local businesses to join a new delivery partner program in the region. You will conduct door-to-door outreach, present the program to prospective partners, qualify interested businesses, and guide them through the full application process. Working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, you will help plan and execute community-based recruitment events, drive referrals through local organizations, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce. The position involves regular travel within a two-hour driving radius and offers uncapped commission based on the successful conversion of new partners. Responsibilities Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance. Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses and generate interest in applying. Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the application process from start to finish. Record, track, and manage leads and pipeline activities in Salesforce to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings. Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and program awareness. Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy. Communicate professionally with prospective partners, answering questions and addressing concerns to support their decision to join the program. Identify and resolve issues that arise during the application and onboarding process for applicants in the field. Consistently raise the bar for the delivery experience by helping onboard high-quality partners in complex last-mile delivery scenarios. Essential Skills 1-2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service. Proven outside or field sales experience. CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone. Ability to manage a sales pipeline and document activities accurately in Salesforce. Capability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip on a daily basis. Comfort with door-to-door outreach and engaging new prospects in person. Ability to import and work with data in Excel and upload it into Salesforce. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus. Field sales experience beyond the minimum requirement is a plus. Professionalism and a strong sense of urgency in responding to prospects and managing tasks. Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with others, including a Field Manager and local partners. High attention to detail and the ability to solve problems for applicants while in the field. Tech-savvy mindset, with experience working across multiple systems and technologies. Motivation to work in a commission-based environment with uncapped earning potential. Work Environment This is a field-based role covering a territory that extends as far north as Indianapolis and as far south as Madison, Indiana. You will spend approximately three to four days per week on the road visiting prospective businesses and attending community events, with the remaining time working from home to follow up on leads, manage your Salesforce pipeline, and complete administrative tasks. The position involves daily driving of up to four hours round trip, with mileage reimbursement provided. A monthly phone allowance is available to support mobile work. The role operates in a mix of office-from-home and on-the-road environments, interacting with a variety of local businesses and community organizations. After a successful six-month performance review, you become eligible for paid time off, and the compensation structure includes uncapped commission tied to partner applications, readiness to launch, and post-launch milestones. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Terre Haute, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
