Job Description

You will recruit local businesses to join the program by conducting in-person outreach, presenting the opportunity, qualifying prospects, and guiding them through the application process. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, support community-based recruitment events, and manage your pipeline in Salesforce. The position involves frequent local travel (up to a two-hour driving distance) and offers uncapped commission based on partner conversions. Responsibilities Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within up to a two-hour driving distance to generate new partner leads. Present and pitch the new delivery partner program opportunity to local businesses in a clear, compelling, and professional manner. Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process. Lead follow-up activity with prospective partners and actively manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce. Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings. Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals. Import and update Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and current data. Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners, answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping applicants solve problems in the field. Use multiple systems and technology tools effectively while on the road and working from home to maintain organized, up-to-date records. Travel regularly within a 30-40 mile radius of Mount Gilead, Ohio, with the ability to drive up to four hours round trip daily as needed. Essential Skills 1-2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service. Proven outside or field sales experience. Experience using a CRM system; Salesforce experience strongly preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone. Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and track activity in CRM tools. Ability to travel up to four hours round trip daily within the assigned territory. Comfort working independently in the field and from home while meeting performance expectations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus. Previous field sales experience is a plus. High level of professionalism and enthusiasm for working with others in a collaborative environment. Strong sense of urgency and drive to meet and exceed goals. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems for applicants in the field. Tech-savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools. Comfort engaging with community organizations and local influencers to build relationships and drive referrals. Work Environment This is a field-based role centered around the Mount Gilead, Ohio area, generally within a 30-40 mile radius. You will spend approximately three to four days per week on the road visiting businesses and attending community events, with the remaining time spent working from home to complete follow-ups, data entry, and planning. The position requires daily driving, sometimes up to four hours round trip, and regular use of a smartphone, laptop, CRM tools such as Salesforce, and Excel. The work environment is fast-paced and performance-driven, with uncapped commission opportunities tied to partner applications and successful launches. You will collaborate virtually and in person with a Field Manager and other local contractors while maintaining a high level of professionalism when meeting with business owners and community stakeholders. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
